A vacancy on the board

Sadly, the player of Michelle Montoya / Tippletoe will be departing the RhyDin.org Board at the end of the month. Despite attempts, we haven't been able to find the right bribe to keep her in place as life responsibilities conspire to drag her away from us. Her insights, organizational skills and overall zeal for the mission of our little endeavor will be sorely missed. Once she's beaten life back into its place, we'll get her time back (she promised, and I'm planning to hold her to that!), so there's a hope for return in the future.

Anyway though - I am only partially here to announce that part. The other part is that, well, there's going to be a board opening at the end of the month. See above... As with all openings on the board, the position is open to any and all. If you are a member of the community, you're qualified. So, for anyone interested in applying and lending their experience to the back end of what it is we do here, please reach out and let us know. There's no strict requirement as far as what you include in said notification of interest, but if we hear from several, it might be helpful if you told us a little bit abut yourself and why you're interested / would make an outstanding addition to the team.

The five current board members are the players of: Jake Thrash, Eden Parker, Mallory Maeda, Michelle Montoya and myself. You may reach out to any of us and may do so via forum or discord PM. Notices of interest will be accepted through the 22nd of May, after which the five us of will discuss and hold a vote to name the newest board member.

Hello, everyone!

First of all, the Board would like to thank everyone who applied to join us over the last month. Our community's success depends on what we put into it, and we appreciate your willingness to step up and the ideas you shared. It's given us a lot to consider as a body going forward.

After discussion and a vote that included our outgoing Board member, Michelle Montoya, we have selected a new member: Max Lager! Max has been our Duel of Magic Coordinator for the last three years, and is a founding staff member who was with us during the transition to RhyDin.org, and we are excited to be working with her in this new capacity.

Thank you for all of your time and hard work with us, Michelle. We wish you all the best!
