Jaycy talked it over and decided to meet on 6/6 at 9 postmeridian by the Eastern Clock with Matt calling.
Re: Challenge for IceDancer
Those to came out to watch this challenge were treated to three down-to-the-wire SUDDEN DEATH duels that were definitely worthy of an opal challenge!
In the first match, which lasted 11 rounds, Jaycy took the early lead before Droet tied things up and then took a slim lead of his own. From there, the pair traded leads again before Droet took things to SUDDEN DEATH. Jaycy landed the final blow, though, and took the first match for her own!
The second duel started much as the first, with Jaycy out to an early lead and Droet tying things up shortly thereafter. Droet then launched himself to a two-point lead before Jaycy narrowed the gap. Droet scored once more, putting himself at match point but then gave up two unanswered points, bringing the match to SUDDEN DEATH. Unlike the first duel, Droet came out on top of this one in the 10th round with a well-timed kick, meaning the challenge would go the three-duel distance!
In the third and final match, both fighters opened with points before Jaycy went on a tear and found herself with a 4-1 lead at the end of four rounds. Droet them mounted a methodical comeback, bringing things to SUDDEN DEATH at the end of the eighth. With everything on the line, Droet baited Jaycy into a trap to take the match and earn the right to hold IceDancer!

Congratulations to Droet and also to Jaycy for her 231 day hold on the blue opal, good for 10th place all-time!
