Electric Desert - 2022 Governor's Ball - March 18th, 2022

The Governor’s Ball was a favorite date in Max’s book as one of her first few dates with her Valentine, Alasdair was a tropical themed Governors Ball in Winter! So this year she wouldn’t miss it either, and the couple could be found arriving later in the evening long after the sun had set. The beautiful art displays and brightly colored lights everywhere brought a bright smile to the woman’s face and noticeably throughout the night it would also bring a shiny glow to her skin. Hand in hand with Alasdair for the night, the two could be seen going to the different vendors and partaking in lots of different eats (though Alasdair probably almost always had a milkshake in his other hand). Enjoying each other’s company and finding lots of quiet moments under the stary sky, they were still all smiles when coming across someone they knew and taking a few moments to catch up, share what interesting or beautiful pieces they had seen so far or recommending where to get the best sweets or milkshakes during the evening.

Max’s dress could make her difficult to miss as the gown shifted colors in the nightlight of the ball, versus the fabric actually being a simple and solid black.

Ettyn arrived late, fresh from hunting radioactive prey, but (thankfully) not glowing herself!

You managed to find inspiration for your outfit for the Governor's Ball by way of accidentally discovering a feature of the skirt your best friend gifted you when you accidentally took a selfie with the flash on; the stars on the skirt have the ability to glow when they're exposed to light! You made a matching Romani dancing style top after finding more of the same magical fabric, sacrificing a bit of formality for comfort while dancing in the desert. All you have to do is cast Dazzling Edict on yourself and your outfit's stars glow brightly the whole night. The glowing stars even happen to be present on the underside of the skirt, for the benefit of anyone who happens to be on the back side of your skirt-tilting barrel spins.
