I challenge for Overlord. The yacht would be cool to use and I could plant a tree on the island too.

I planted one of the meswen seedlings I purchased from Karma in the grove between the Overlord's manor and the dock. Win or lose, you are welcome to plant a tree there as well.

My focus is performing a cleansing ceremony at the Moon Meadow by planting a moon blossom tree to honor the Kami. The challenge itself would make for a nice spectacle to celebrate the occasion!

While I am grateful for the opportunity to challenge for the mantle, I am more so at your willingness to allow me to tend to the meadow.

Tonight saw Ebon Ilnaren facing his fourth challenge as Overlord shortly after waiving grace - Warlord Hana Sasaki!

Hana fought under a black and white banner, with Penny Escobar serving as her second, and her wife Yuki Sasaki as her person of honor. It should be noted for the record that Penny did not memorize her lines!

Ebon fought under a banner of an eight-pointed star on a black field. His seconds were his squires, Kruger Allen and Reign, and his ladies of honor were Phen Seer Ilnaren, and daughters Azure and Olivia.

Ebon chose the best-of-three format tonight, and wielded his blade Talon, while Hana used her katana - often sheathed in its saya! Ebon scored the first point of the night, and maintained a commanding lead throughout the first match, closing it out five to two in six rounds.

The second match started in Hana's favor, and she quickly built to a three point lead. Ebon made it onto the board soon after, but Hana had match point in the fifth round, though it would take four more to close it out five to two in her favor.

The third match closely followed the third, Hana building to a three point lead by the fifth round. The Overlord made it onto the board in the seventh round, and valiantly held Hana off for eleven rounds until she struck to win five to one!

Congratulations to our new Overlord (not Overmaiden, I think, though it is a nice name!) Hana Sasaki, and well reigned, Ebon! I hope people stop shooting at you, my friend.

I just watched the recording of the Overlord challenge; that was an excellent match. Congratulations on your win, Hana. I intended to be Loyal to Ebon if he won. I don't know Hana just yet, but taking Ebon's endorsement into account primarily, in addition to the posts on the cork I've seen and the match I just watched, Cadentia will be Loyal to the new Overlord.
