Interview With Nero Zhir

Post by Kairi »

Sat at the table was a young lady, white hair hung loosely across her shoulders. She was dressed professionally and had an air to match. Kairi smiled to the cameraman, “Are we prepared for our guest today?” There must have been an affirmation as she sat, crossed one leg over the other, and waited.

Question 1: What brought you to Rhy’din?
KS: Thank you for agreeing to meet for this interview, I have a few questions, and if you are ready, I would like to start with what brought you to Rhy’din?
NZ: I am a part of the Hunter's Association and I am a Passion Hunter. I seek things that drive people and specifically things that drive people to them. Rhy'Din is a very special place where all different people revolve around influential things.

Question 2: History with the sport.
KS: This place is ripe with history, speaking of which, how long have you been interested in the duel of fists sport?
NZ: I have been in the city for a few months and have been looking at the different cultures within it. Needless to say there are many, however, this specifically fit the scope of what I was looking for.

Question 3 : But Head Co-ordinator?
KS: I understand it being what you were looking for, but why did you choose to sign on for this role, as co-head co-ordinator?
NZ: To follow up I chose to sign on for this because I can provide an influx of new resources into the Duel of Fists and it will give me a new perspective into what motivates people's passions.

Question 4 : Qualifications?
KS: And on that vein, just what qualifies you for the role as a head coordinator in the Outback?
NZ: Fortunately for me I will definitely not be doing it alone! Inheriting a family business that has spanned a century plus has given me some life lessons that I think have helped set me up. Some principles are one-to-one: legacy, branding, creativity. I think I'm well qualified for the task.

Question 5: Expectations
KS: What changes can we expect in the outback under yours and Miss Graziano’s leadership?
NZ: Alongside me the wonderful Miss Graziano has agreed to keep some of the things I just touched on in balance. We will not be making any changes to rock the boat but you can expect some new and refreshing things. I can say anything we introduce will be entirely optional.

Question 6: Co-coords?
KS: What motivated the decision behind co-heading the outback, over a sole leader and assistant?
NZ: Miss Graziano and I believe that we will complement one another well and that both of us can provide a better experience for the Sport than either one on our own.

Question 7: Legacy?
KS: How do you intend to fulfill the legacy left by Mr. Simon upon his retirement?
NZ: We will do what Mr. Simon did and that is provide the fighters and fans more to build on that what came before us. We intend to leave it a better sport than we inherited.

Question 8: Events?
KS: What kind of events can we expect to see?
NZ: I do not want to get into any details but we intend on introducing something unique to Duel of Fists that the other two do not. Stay tuned for more.

The interview was short, closing abruptly, a note at the bottom to head to the Outback at seven by the Rhy'din clock to meet and greet both Nero Zhir and Ria Graziano.
