Prepare for a winter wonderland and a very (black and) blue Yule and venture by way of horse drawn carriage to a castle on the hill at the far north edge of Seaside. Enjoy the thousands of lights that decorate the path there and the tens of thousands that light up the castle where the ball will be held. Pass through a courtyard of ice sculptures on your way into the castle where Rhydin’s hottest DJs spin tunes for party goers in a ballroom bathed in blue light over black tablecloths, chairs, and other decor.

Passed hors d'oeuvres and drinks compliment a seated meal from a five star menu and magical snow falls overhead without ever touching patrons or their food. Find each of the unique trees stationed throughout the manor and drop by the drawing room to talk with Krampus about whether or not you deserve a present this year. Spoiler… the Governor says you do, so the well paid Krampus will assuredly send you on your way with a neat little gift or two.

Enjoy dinner, including pancetta-wrapped beef tenderloin with whipped horseradish cream, cherry pecan baked brie, prime rib, herbed potato stacks, balsamic green beans with pearl onions, mini corn cakes with smoked salmon and dill creme fraiche, and deserts like yule log chocolate cake, pumpkin pecan cheesecake, and acadian syrup cake with roasted pears and caramel sauce.

Don’t forget the drinks-- who could?

Row 1: Hot buttered rum, cranberry mimosa, classic hot toddy
Row 2: Bourbon berry punch, mistletoe cranberry martini, the Grinch (midori, cherry, and citrus)
Row 3: Mulled wine, Holly Jolly (vodka, elderflower liqueur, and freshly squeezed orange juice), white hot chocolate (with or without alcohol)
The party goes until the last revelers take their leave, ushered back to the city in horse drawn carriages once more. Be sure to grab your gift basket on the way out.
