As someone who was absolutely present for this challenge, and officializing it at that, I'm pretty well able to tell you what went on. After some Taco Tuesday goodness brought on by yours truly, with the services of Matadero Meats, Salvador and Dakota arrived and confirmed their intent to press challenge and defend the title, respectively!

And with that, we got underway! The first match was dominated early on by Dakota, with Salvador only putting up a single point in response before she took the first bout!

Our second bout was a stark contrast, as Salvador had had just about enough of not scoring points. In seven decisive rounds, he shut out Dakota and brought us into our third and final bout!

The final started out looking like Salvador may have been heading towards a second sweep, but Dakota brought it back to a dead tie from a 3-0 lead! After climbing to match point, there was a brief stall before Salvador took the bout and closed out the challenge, laying claim to the green Opal and ending Dakota's reign!
