Badass Board - Spring Cycle 2021

The Badass Board is Here! This board counts any duels (challenge, tournament, or regulation) from the beginning of dueling April 12th until the next Diamond is crowned at the next Diamond Quest.

Being badass comes in all different shapes and sizes. Sometimes it's slow-mo walking away from an explosion, sometimes it's saving a kitty from a tree and sometimes it's punching someone in the mouth.

• We'll start with that one: landing an uppercut, hook or spinkick will get you 1 point.
• Succesfully feinting any of those three moves will get you 2 points.
• Defending is also pretty badass: earning a point with a legblock (including converting with one) gets you 3 points.
• Looking cool is part of being a badass but the goal isn't to get wrecked while trying. Be smart about being a badass and you'll find yourself winning more than not! Beat Diamond Hope Naharis in a DoF duel by 4 or more points and you will get 5 points.

These count for any Fists, Slugfest, or IFL duel in any venue, as long as it's official - practice matches don't count!

The Winner of the Spring Cycle 2021 Badass Grant is

EBON ILNAREN!!

This grant shall have one of two uses:

1. The grant holder, no matter the rank, may challenge for an Opal that is not under a grace period. If the grant holder is an Emerald, this will not count as their traditional monthly challenge right.

OR

2. The grant holder, if they are an Emerald, may elect to use this grant as a “grace-breaker”, meaning the grant holder may challenge any Opal currently under grace. If the grant is used to break grace, it cannot be additionally utilized as a free challenge right.

The Badass Grant will be valid for a period of thirty (30) days after it is awarded on the corkboard. This period will not extend if an Opal or the Diamond gifts the grant to another recipient. The Badass Grant holder, or the Opal or Diamond using it, must post on the Public Corkboard that it is being used, for what, and/or for whom.
