((As always, content warning for Roni's potty mouth. Along with Violence, kidnapping, murder, and mention of torture.))

Lily was safe. Tucked away and hidden with Mist, who would fight just as hard as she would to protect her. Her big brother had made and cast the recall spell on her for the exact reason of someone stupid enough to try. Haru, Haru was not. Jaxx still had Haru, and she was absolutely going to kill him. He took her daughter, and he took her brother. There's a part of her that regrets throwing her phone and smashing it to bits earlier, but there's another part that is thankful, as it saved her the trauma of Jaxx trying to call her and torture Haru over the phone or some shit.
The stupid note and shit that the jackass left behind for her was enough to lead her to his stupid skeezy night club, and honestly, the snarl she gave the bodyguard at the door, coupled with the dropping of her glamour gave her enough opportunity to slip inside before he could stop her. Murderous intent was clear as day on her face, and woe was the one that tried to stop her. Guests were smart enough to move as she stalked her way straight for the bar, and the pretty bartender behind it.
"Jaxx. Where the Fuck is he? And don't ya dare fuckin' try that bullshit that he ain't here, cuz I won't hesitate ta bust whoever tries ta keep me from his miserable cockroach ass,"
The tender raised an eyebrow, “You must be the special client.” His voice dripped with a knowing tone, “He asked me to tell you that he wants Albedo’s head, for your brother back.” He met her gaze, a dull uncaring look in his eyes of someone who was someone else’s puppet.
At his meeting of her eyes, she would see Haru, tied to a chair, head down, hair in his face, blood dripping down his chin, struggling against his bonds.
Special client. There's a beat, and a brief, and manic cackle of laughter. "Mmh. He really does underestimate me, doesn't heee." There's an amused sigh. "Yer boss can fuckin' suck my dick on that. Either he willin'ly gives me mah brother back and maybe lives, or I have ta come get my brother n'he fuckin' dies. His choice."
Whatever.... Else she planned on spitting at the person died in her throat when she met their gaze, and for a brief and sudden moment, saw her brother, looking worse for the wear, bloodied and fighting.
"Actually. He's made 'is choice." She knows from the first time she was here where Jaxx's stupid little spot was, and she's making a direct bolt for it. He made his choice, and she fully intended to let him simmer in her rage.
The vision held for a moment, Haru’s head lifting weakly to stare into his sisters eyes, a look begging for help deep in those brown eyes, “Good luck ma’am.” The man spoke in a dead voice, no movement made to stop her.
Within the room, for the moment, was her little brother, face sliced open, one eye black, hair matted with blood, crimson droplets falling to the floor.
Really Jaxx was an idiot of a simple man. His cave was at the end of the hallway, with the mildly fancier door than all the others because he had to feel better than everyone else. It's that very door that she finds open, and somewhere in the back of her head there's something screaming trap, but Haru is there, and in pain, all because of her stupid work and a psycho that decided to target her and her loved ones.
Once the doors open her brother's exactly who she makes a beeline for. "Haru- Hey dipshit, I told ya ta wait fer me." Liiike any big sister should, she chews him out just a lil. There's also a silent 'Thank god you're alive' in there too.
A gun barrel found itself pressed into her skull from behind, “Hey princess, wanna make a deal? Or should I blow a hole straight through you and your brother?” Jaxx’s voice was cold, even as her brother glanced up terrified at the barrel, “The poor thing can’t defend himself can he? And he used to be so powerful…” his voice mocking, sadistic.
Haru tried to make a sound, air croaking out of his mouth, no words with it, pulling on his bonds.
Roni froze at the cool metal that met the back of her head. She very much so knew that it was a gun, and that it was most likely loaded. He had been expecting her after all. "What deal are ya lookin' ta make?" She doesn't make any sudden moves... yet.
She's not completely neurotic. That and she makes a point to ignore or humor anything he said about Haru.
Jaxx grinned, “Albedo’s head, on a stick, get me that, and you and your shell of a brother can go home safely, though… I do have a question, you have such an issue with me, isn’t he just as bad?” The voice was quiet, “You saw his file after all,” A beat, “Such a violent vigilante, blind to the crimes of her own poor helpless baby brother, and maybe, maybe that brother has even been helping Albedo…”
"Yer so fuckin butthurt that he dumped ya when ya became no longer useful. Jaxx. Have ya any idea how the fae work? Yer lucky yer still breathin'." There's a soft laugh that follows, despite the bite of metal at the back of her head. "Haru’s so called violence was gettin' rid of trashy scum like ya. Nooot much different from me."
"Yer like my useless late husband, who thought people were goods and services ta be owned." Her words were that. Words. And Distractions from the shimmering twist and bend in reality behind him, where, for a moment, the waking and dream worlds melded, bleeding fantastical bright saturated colors into his otherwise bleak little throne room.
“He broke his promise.” The words were firm, the hammer of the gun pulled back, “I was referring to the brothels and people trade happening under his watch, or are you so stupid you believe he didn’t know?”
His attention was firmly on her, the rip in reality yet unseen, cocky grin that of a man who believed he had won.
"He broke his promise." She mocked him without fear, despite the click of the hammer she heard. "Jesus christ, ya sound like a fuckin' child. A petulant one throwin' a fuckin fit because no one wants ta play with yer ass."
There's a beat, and a look to Haru at his words. "Really? I think maybe I missed that." Casually. Half truths, designed to get him rambling more. To ignore the sinuous animal form creeping its way out of where reality and dreams melded. It was a mix of vixen shape, but longer, flowing features and fur, feathers, a blends of vibrant blues and purples, neons in pinks and blues, a beautiful nightmare, just as the woman who called it.
“I hate hypocrites,” the man tilted his head, “And you can’t possibly expect me to believe he didn’t know what Rafa and Avi were doing, not when I saw him enter Avi’s brothel,” there’s a grin, “Now, are you going to help me?”
"Mmhm." Softly sounded. Jaxx was out of his ever loving mind if he thought Roni would help her in the way he wanted.... but there were plenty of other ways she could help him. Like into a grave. The faerie smiled ever so carefully. Words were dangerous, especially when dealing with a faerie. Even one that's still learning.
"I will help ya. Especially if ya remove the gun from the back ah mah head."
His voice was cold, “Make the deal then,” it would seem he had learned, “You will bring me Albedo’s head on a stick, and in exchange your precious little criminal will live,” the gun was pushed against her head, “And if you’re trying to buy time… these bullets are cold iron, and it doesn’t take anything special to kill a human.”
Roni's hands came up, easily and slowly. Then, before she said anything else, she simply turned around so that she was facing him, and the gun was pressed to her forehead instead. He'd have to look her in the eyes before he actually shot her if he was going to. "I will bring ya what ya deserve." He was a big ego man and thought everything was owed to him, yes? Roni would play with that.
Jaxx grinned and lowered the gun, the barrel angled down, a shot ringing out as a bullet met Haru’s gut, “Better hurry princess, if he doesn’t live now, that’s on you,” he grinned and dropped the gun, “Now scurry off and bring me what I need.” He spoke it as if he didn’t truly care, before turning to find himself face to face with the creature.
Haru screamed as the bullet met his flesh, pulling at his bonds to escape, to stop the bleeding. Flames rippled down around the wound, flames he shouldn’t have. A shadow stood in the corner of the room whispering softly as the wound was burned closed, “You will want to hurry Roni.” The voice was Haru’s, “Or you condemn us both.”
He shot faster than she could move, and she knew without turning around that the sick fuck had one hundred percent shot her brother without hesitations. There's a snarl, a vicious one that spits out the word: "Deal." He never verified what he deserved, and at this point? He very much so deserved to die in her eyes. Roni always warns people to be careful with how they word things to the fae, and tonight she banked on Jaxx's arrogance.
It's with her roar of rage that the world seems to go absolutely sideways, and that melding of the dream world and waking expanded, painting the room with fantastical colors and storms in the distance, what looked to be a dead or dying forest, was starting to come into existence. First he kidnapped her daughter, then he tortured her brother, and now he fucking shot him. Not that Jaxx was quite aware, as he seemed rather dense, but his minutes were numbered. The creature Jaxx turned to be face to face with, was given a treat, as Roni scrambled out of the way, and it lunged, jaws snapping for whatever part of the man they could sink into.
As Jaxx was occupied for a moment, Roni really wished she still had her phone. Let Mist know to get ready for a gunshot wound. Even still, she's eyeing her brother and the flames that sealed his wounds, and finally the shadow of a figure that spoke with her brothers voice. It clicks that it's the half he rejected a few weeks ago. She steps quick to him and pulls one of her many knives from somewhere, and starts on the binding keeping her brother in the chair. "Haru, hold on. We're gunna getcha ta Mist. Promise." For now she wanted him free. THEN Jaxx would have her full undivided attention.
The man stared up at the creature and screamed as it tore into his flesh, the pair forgotten for the moment.
The human half of Haru slipped from the chair, hitting the floor with a soft thud, brown eyes closed, blood pooling around them at a far slower rate thanks to that fire, “Roni?” He asked quietly.
The shadow slipped forward and rested a hand over the wound, shadows creating a thread, stitching and fusing the wound with unnatural accuracy, “This won’t hold long, hurry.”
Roni's quick to catch him, and make his fall to the floor a lil less abrupt. "Yeah, ya jerk, m'ere, n'I'm gunna getcha ta Mist. Hold on just a second."
As she spoke there's a second vixen creature, similar to the first that's nosing its way up to them, yipping softly, and nipping at Roni's heels with the urgency at hand. "Stay with him." It's a soft command, one that has the creature whining as the dream realm reached the whole confines of the room, no longer a thing of walls, but a door, and endless spanse of landscape that stretched as far as the eye could conceive, bright fantastical and exaggerated colors. The storm was closer, thunder rumbled with Roni's climbing anxiety as she turned, and whistled, calling off the one that was relentlessly playing tug with Jaxx's limbs.
"Hey asswipe. We made a deal fer what ya deserved. Ya know what that is? Eternal sleep." Hum. There's something viciously delighted on her face as she stalks towards his prone form.
The man scrambled back, suddenly regretting his life up till this point, “You were supposed to bring me his head you psychopath!” The pot yelled at the kettle, his own misdeeds ignored for the moment. His eyes reflected the colors of the world around him as it shifted. The terror sat deep within them, his arm hanging limply at his side.
The Haru’s sat with the dream creature, the human losing consciousness as the shadow held him up, begging their sister to hurry.
"The exact words, were for me to give ya what ya deserve. We made a deal. It is not my mistake yer arrogance made ya agree without considering mah words," Oh how she was delighted. There's part of her that is sad that time is such a pressing thing. She wanted to savor watching the light drain from his eyes, but sudden and abrupt it was. In the time it took for her to close the distance between where she was and him, her nails had grown long, into what looked like vicious razor sharp talons.
Her last couple steps ended in a pounce that aimed to drag him down to the ground. "Yer fuckin' done harrasin' me n'mine." The words were snarled.
He found himself pinned under the feral faerie, eyes wild with fear, “You will never beat him without help.” The words were spat up at her, “You’re just a little faerie, he’s an archfae with friends.”
Roni laughed maniacally with his words. "Everyone underestimates me. Because of my husband. That is their fault though." That she speaks with a growl, before those talons of hers find his chest.
"Too bad yer a lil bitch." Savagely spat were the words, before she jerked and thrusted said razor sharp talons into the soft flesh just below his ribcage.
Blood left his lips as he coughed, the life very quickly leaving his eyes, “Good luck.” He whispered as his life ended, eyes losing their color.
On the ground, the demon Haru and dream creature were watching this unfold, the demon shrinking back the second she turned towards them, the human unconscious in front of him, before he vanished, leaving them alone at last.
Good Luck. If Roni hadn't been so intent on making sure he was dead, she might of laughed, but no, her intentions were shredding everything underneath his ribcage to bits, and leaving very little to work with when it came to piecing things together. Innards and belly shredded, last breath gurgled, Roni's face was the last thing he saw. And once again, a well deserved death could not be savored, as family was in immediate danger. Hands and arms bloodied up to the elbow, she finally pulled away from Jaxx's fresh corpse.
"Find Lilith. Get her and her sister 'ere ta take care of 'em." That's aside to the vixen creature that was currently licking her lips clean from her initial attack on the man. There's only a look between Roni and the corpse, before she bounds off, and was gone. Then Roni's turning back to her brother. "Hey. Haru. Hey, I need ya ta wake up fer me, come on, Haru." There's quiet panic in her voice, even as she struggles with his limp unconscious body just enough to load him onto the second vixen creature, and started getting him first out towards the door that was still visible in the melded world of dream and reality.
The scream that she and her entourage was greeted with by one of the many ladies when they got halfway down the hall reminded her that she had snap spells.
By the time she's dug one from her pocket, there's the sound of more footfall thundering down the hallway. A bodyguard's the first to arrive in view, and she simply grins. "Too late." There's a quiet snap and the spell tube in her fingers disintegrates. She is certain to hold Mist's cave fast in her mind, and a few moments later all the bodyguard is grasping at is air.
