Pharlen glided to the Solarium with Jackie and Alice, whom promptly took off to do kid things without Mom. Which was fine, Pharlen found herself a glass of wine and sat down to make up some lovely floral decor...

The witch selected a bough of blackthorn that bent easily to her Blackthorn Blessing from years past; and wound belladonna vines around it, with nightshade flowers, using the cantrip she had learned at her first Beltane, as the Belladonna Knight!

Droet had made a wreath with mainly chrysanthemums, after Mimi had said she liked them.

After some early troubles handling the flowers and a nice assist from Scarlett, Karma managed to string together a fragrant (but flimsy) crown of lavender sprigs and violet blooms around a pale purple ribbon. Violets were her favorite irony, meant to symbolize innocence, modesty and true, everlasting love. Lavender for devotion (and for a more solid base structurally) made for a pleasant combination of scents between the two.

While Mimi hadn't been confident in her abilities to build a wreath, a daisy chain for a flower crown was more than easy to accomplish after years of practice as a child. Once she had the basic shape, her technique could only be described as keep adding flowers until the party is over. She stuck to a bright selection of flowers, because warmer shades remind her of Droet.

Since she was the judge, Anya focused on making herself a crown to match her dress. And embracing her namesake.

It was only by chance that Sylva happened to hear about the Solarium opening its doors to the creative minds to create the flower wreaths. She showed up in quiet fashion, spending quite a bit of her time just roaming and enjoying the view. She'd eventually find a little nook to setting into and start some weaving of her own. At first, it was some flowers introduced to her wire bending but when the end result looked...well...not a wreath but rather a tiara sort of thing, she placed it aside and started anew.
Once upon a time, she was asked what her favorite color was. She hadn't put much thought into it until a few years ago. Forget-me-nots were chosen, sprinkled with white pearls to nestle in a field of green. She sat there staring at the finished product before lowering into her lap with a sigh.
