Correspondence and Communication
A handy dandy space and place for letters, texts, and parcels of all sorts! Like a P.O. box, but cheaper.

Re: Correspondence and Communication
Ettyn knew that her body was strong but her words were weak. She also knew that Morgan was hurting, and that beyond what had been said about marriage to Mart, it had been one particular subject that seemed to instigate it all...
She spent a few coins of her latest monster bounty on a piece of artwork she had seen in an open window, one meant to convey feelings but with space inside to add more. She selected one that she thought expressed it best, took it back to the Cardinal Inn, and borrowed a pen so that she could get to work.
It was a boisterous place, and wherever she settled there, whether at the bar or her room there or the small office, it wasn't long until a number of the long-term residents trickled in to see if the slayer was interested in doing business. On more than one occasion, her concentration was broken and she had to clear the room with a roar of "QUIET, WHORES! I AM WORKING!"
The end result was this, delivered to the Heathen on the same day:

An earth elemental rumbled up to The Heathen. It held two rolled scrolls gingerly. As soon as it saw Morgan, it held them out for delivery. Then as soon as they were taken, it announced:
one scroll of stoneskin
one scroll of earthquake
Courtesy of the Keeper
and rolled away.

In the middle of the Heathen hold, where a circle had been drawn with very specific runes, there was a flash of red light. A book, bound in new leather and closed with a brass clasp appeared in the center. The pages inside were filled with recipes for herbal remedies, instructions for simple healing practices, rituals ranging from the elaborate to the simple, and magickal properties of several crystals. The pages were logically organized and cataloged by a Table of Contents. Where possible, the pages were illustrated in painstaking detail using brightly colored inks.
There was a note lying on top, written in easy italic script.
Morgan,
I'd hoped to get this done prior to making mage or taking a Tower. I missed that mark. Better late than not at all.
Thank you for taking me on for training and teaching me this new world of magic. When we first met you expressed interest in my family's grimoire. I hope your own copy of it proves to be useful. The research I've conducted over the past few months should have cleared up any inaccuracies in the original.
Stay safe and be well,
Anya
