This challenge happened tonight!

Anubis fought under a banner featuring a cobra with hood splayed, looping through a silver Eye of Ra with a pitch black background. His second was Salvador Delahada and his Lady of Honor was Tetra.

Matt's colors tonight were blue and yellow. He had no second, and his persons of honor were Koy, Thia, and Malachite!

The baron was first on the board, but quickly after it was clear that this would be a close fight as Anubis tied things right up. The fight continued to remain close, back and forth for several rounds. For every step Matt made, Anubis seemed to be able to match him! But he could not catch him in time and Matt hit pay dirt with two sandwich rounds of scoring thrusts!

FINAL: Goldglo def. Anubis Karos, 5 - 3.5 in 11 rounds.

In the second fight, Anubis was first on the board. But Matt had gotten his number and he came back to score in five unanswered rounds, putting an exclamation point on his SIXTH defense!
