Neekylah had been sneaky during The Challenge for Seaside and approached the cork to quickly pin up a message.
Maggie,
Not only have you held this Barony for far to long, I think I wouldn’t be a good Mentee if I didn’t try and take down a renegade Baron so I’m challenging you. Let’s have some fun yeah?

Re: Challenge For Dragon’s Gate
Warlord/Warlady Lang,
Congratulations on your engagement and upcoming wedding.
I accept your challenge and look forward to meeting you in the ring.
I'm available the following dates during the two weeks we are alloted: 11, 14, 16, 17,18, and 21 of February. 9:30 or later by the eastern clock works best for me. As you may already know, the Tower of Water is also under challenge and as its custodian I am to defend it during that same two week period.
My preferred callers for this match are Dris, Eden Parker, Tenball, and Claire Gallows.
I'm in the office, mornings, at Dragon's Gate Sword School Monday through Friday. If none of the dates or officials fit with your schedule or preferences, please contact me there or leave word at Harker's Academy in Old Temple.

Warlord/Warlady Lang, Tenball, and other interested parties,
This message is being posted on my behalf. As of early this morning, I am snowed in with my family on Harkers' Island. This is a very rare event for us. At present, portal and magical travel are not even possible. While I hope the weather will be more cooperative by Wednesday evening, I felt it best make you aware that there could be a delay or a need to reschedule. I apologize for any inconvenience this might cause. Unfortunately, not even the Tower of Water's power can be used to clean this up quickly.
Sincerely,
Mairead E. Harker
Baroness of Dragon's Gate
(( Unfortunately, I have had no internet service since very early this morning. Discord and my phone are not compatible. I tried logging in via the website on my phone and could not navigate the service. I'm not ghosting anyone, I can't respond and couldn't log out as I normally do. Be safe and warm. ))

Re: Challenge For Dragon’s Gate
Maggie managed to make it off of Harker Island, and tonight's challenge went on as planned! I was there!
Challenger Neekylah Lang fought under the banner of a blue rose edged in gold! Her second was Morgan Chae, Baron of Dockside and her future husband! Her Person of Honor was Octavia Tarracon!
Defending her title, Mairead Harker fought under the banner of her spirit animal, the polar bear, and other symbols of her heritage; her colors were green, gold, and blue. Her seconds were Doran Ilnaren, Squire Haru Jeong, and her grandfather, Tasslehofl Momus. Her Court of Honor included her parents, Dennis and Rhiannon Harker; her godfather, Albert Hall; Augusta Mary Anne Holmès Driscol, Mayflower Katz and Moneypenny.
Maggie elected a single-match format for this challenge, and it was a match to remember, going 14 rounds and with a close score for much of it!
