Tonight I was proud to present the Battle for Battlefield Park! We bore witness to newly minted Warlord Haru Jeong attempting to wrest the baronial ring from the clutches of veteran titan of titles Matt Simon, who has held the barony since December 2019!

Challenger Haru Jeong fought under a black banner featuring a red cat and a sparkling border. His Seconds this evening were Amaris and Baroness Maggie Harker, and he fought for the Honor of his friends, family, and IFL teammates the Rock Hards!

Defender Matt Simon fought under the colors of black and yellow, listed not a soul as his Second, but fought for the Honor of his lovely wife Koy and their darling children Thia and Malachite!

The Baron chose a best of three format and showed absolutely no mercy to our young challenger. They fought the first match so quickly that I had a hard time keeping up! In a flurry of five rounds, Baron Simon bested Haru 5 to 0. The second fight started off more promising with Haru getting an early lead a few rounds in. Baron Simon evened out the score soon enough, however, and continued to dominate the score from then on out. In seven rounds, he defeated Haru 5 to 3 and successfully defended his title for the fifth time in a row!

Haru picked himself an especially formidable opponent for his first time in the challenge ring! Nice try attempting to take the title, Haru! Congratulations on banking yourself another defense, Matt! What a spectacular performance from you both!
