Winter Ball: RhyDin in Wonderland

The young man who went by gatito arrived on the arm of the Queen of the Sea herself, Rekah Illyriana. As her escort for the evening, his suit harmonized with her gown in shades of black and deep midnight blue. On his lapel, he wore a dragonfly fashioned out of gold and glass, an unwitting nod to a woman he had yet to meet.

With his hair smoothed back and only a few hours of stubble darkening his jaw, Aiden had dressed himself up in fine style. The suit was a rich, dark grey with a pristine white shirt beneath. Amazingly, he'd even worn the tie!

[Rekah Illyriana]

Sea glass hid in the spirals of her hair along with the scent of honeysuckle carried on waves. The Wildling suffered through the process of cleaning up, something she hadn’t done since the disappearance of her Jasper. The shopkeeper had tried to talk her into shoes, Rekah refused. Their only concession were ribbons wrapped around her ankles and calves, the tattered edges dangling on the ground a reminded of where the ballet flats should have been.

A ring, sometimes two for every finger was carefully picked out, placed and examined. None matched the outfit, but they all matched her.
