In a double header that I was most fortunate to share with Twilight Isle's brightest star, Max Lager, our two duelists faced off for the Tower of Fire. Eden Parker had notched two previous defenses, while Reggie Wellston had shown an interest in the Isle's power through her pursuit of recent tournaments.

Much as had happened for the simultaneous challenge for the Tower of Water, Eden elected to immediately use the elemental ring Tartarus for the entirety of the match. Through the fire and smoke and steam, in each fight it proved to be the one who opened in the lead to take the entire match. The first went to Reggie, trading on Eden's powerful command of the elements and finishing with a three-point lead; the second to Eden, who built a wide and commanding lead that only briefly slipped in the sixth round before she regained it, finishing three-and-a-half points ahead.

But in the third and final match, Reggie was able to build on an initially narrow lead and overcome Eden's command of fire in the final round.

Well reigned, Eden, and well won, Reggie.
