Crossroads/OOC
Crossroads/OOC
In the backroads of never, to the highways of Faerie and the tollway to doom, stories meet and merge, they pass and fall away. They find themselves at the Crossroads, and from there, do they continue ahead, or do they take the turn into other realms...?
Stories, continued and interrupted, of beings from wherever the sky calls to the dreamers, the wind whispers to the wanderers, and the road calls to the determined.
A collection of writings and art, old and new. You're welcome to come and join the journey.
All the OOC is here! <3

Re: Crossroads/OOC
Hello everyone!
A few years back, the player behind Suliss started an amazing thread on her site “Greater Realms”. It was called “Walk A Mile In Their Shoes”, and the idea was for you, the writer, to pick out another player’s character (who had been offered up for the thread) and to write a short short story using that character.
Some AMAZING things were posted, and now, as Greater Realms is going to be closed, I decided to move the posts that I’d made here, because they were such fun, and because also they keep the memory of players who have gone on, one way or another.
I'm also asking the people who were involved in the original thread if I can move their posts here, as well. I asked Suliss's player if she would mind if I did repost - and restart - and she was happy to let me do so! Because I'd like to give the thread a good kick-start, not just in memory of Greater Realms and the genius that is Suliss's player, BUT because it was so much fun.
So, for now, I'm just in the process of moving. So if you were involved in the original thread, and you'd like for me to move the post - or not - or you'd like to post it yourself - just let me know and we'll get on this!

I don't see anything I wrote in there, but it might serve as inspiration to reread those pieces again!

I remember that thread on GR, though I don't believe I ever posted in it.

Re: Crossroads/OOC
Walk A Mile -- A few writers never got back to me, "Jane Bunbury"/Amthy/Chimera (In your Colour)" , "Senna" and "Craven Delights". If you know them and can give them a nudge, I'll be happy to move their posts here or wherever they like!
BUT!
Let's Open This Thread For Business!
Here's Mel's (Greater Realms) original post:
This game is simple.
Player's interested should respond by volunteering their character(s) to be written about from other players; as if those other players where the actual player's creations. Be it a small paragraph, a few sentences, a hilarious scene, a harrowing scene, happy or sad.
The object of the game is to stretch your creative brain-pans and have fun and see how other people see your characters in a different light. Since the character's are being volunteered by their creators, there's no worry about a right or wrong here. It's all about perception and so it's very much okay not to know, understand, or be 100%. All that matters is that players try
If someone volunteers a character that sparks your interest, please write something!
If you'd like to participate, just toss your character or characters here in the OOC thread. If you'd like to write, and one or more of the characters here interest you, then go right ahead!
Mainly, Have Fun! <3
I will start, I'll volunteer Pharlen, Jackie, Desdenova, and Halcyon. :3
