Tanabata in Kabuki Street July 11!

After shopping with her sissy Roni and new big brother Haru Amaris picked out her Yukata and excitedly donned it first thing in the morning.
While shopping she got a gift for Mist she picked his Yukata for him too.

Mist was thrilled to be given a lovely yukata, and soon was dressed and trailing after Amaris. Making sure she got to do everything she wanted and got what she liked, of course. Despite how easily he was distracted by anything shiny and pretty, he managed to keep up with Amaris for the most part.

Not wanting to miss such a fabulous occasion, Lady Alura visited Kabuki Street before Tanabata began to pick up appropriate attire. She selected a red yukata festooned with a pattern of lily flowers and bound at the waist with a white obi.

Dris had not at all come prepared for Tanabata, because it was the one rumor circulating that he had not absorbed very well due to lack of understanding. As it turned out, he and Rhys just happened to be out for an evening stroll and stumbled upon the festivities. The next thing he knew, someone had slapped a haori on him, thrust a drink in his hands, and shoved him into the fray. Though he had absolutely no idea what was going on, there were people having a good time and plenty of alcohol, so he was totally in!

Similarly to his paramour, Rhys was initially pretty clueless about the nature of the festival. Only after someone explained it to him did it dawn on him that he’d heard something about it earlier in the week. By then, he already had a (fairly plain) haori around his shoulders and a drink in his hand, so he rolled with it. It sounded like a great way to spend a Saturday night.
