Delahada wrote: Thu Apr 16, 2020 1:38 pm Salvador turned in all of his shards because he didn't want to touch any of them. Thankfully, Matt was kind enough to keep a tally for him. Apparently he had earned 9 total during the final Panther's Claw Tournament.

5 spent to put an extra win on his record.

2 spent to buy Fytco Toy Company - G’s Exes Collection

The final 2 shards were left as a bonus donation to the very next person to turn in their own and collect on prizes, since he didn't want anything else.

To Sal,

Congratulations on reaching Emerald! Please find your Fycto Toy Company G's Exes Collection in the accompanying box and enjoy.

After having the list of available redeemable items read off to him, he decided to claim one of the donated shards so that he could bring his total number up to five. He exchanged them all, then, for a puppy and went on his way.

Renley,

Thank you for helping us collect Opal shards! We really appreciate it. Please pick up your puppy this week in the Outback. He is waiting for you.. and chewing on Matt's new desk.

Sincerely,

Amaris,

Thank you so much for helping us collect Opal shards. It's very much appreciated. Let's make a date for our dinner cruise before my upcoming challenge with Myria! Would you like me to invite some other young ladies from my neighborhood? I understand young people often like to associate with one another. We could have a tea party.

Let me know.

Ebon Ilnaren wrote: Sat Apr 18, 2020 9:45 pm Ebon turned in his shards and received a number of ransoms rewards.

For two shards each, he received three Meswen tree saplings, one for the Manor, one for Rhi and Gory, and one for Pearl and Velen. (6)

A pair of shards went for one of the spelunking expeditions for four in Battlefield Park, while another earned him and Phen a romantic catamaran dinner cruise. (4)

Finally, he used his last 5 shardss for... a puppy. Olivia had said she wanted another one to keep their oldest dog feeling young.

Ebon,

Thank you so much for helping us locate shards to put the Opals back together again! It was very much appreciated. Please pick up your Meswen tree saplings at the Outback this week (they'll be tagged with your name) as well as the puppy. Included here are vouchers for your spelunking expedition and romantic dinner cruise.

Enjoy!

Michelle Montoya wrote: Sun Apr 19, 2020 2:09 pm Since there was still one remaining shard from Sal (and likely more from when she fought him at the DQ), she made an accounting with Matt Simon that brought her up to 12 shards.

Ten shards were used to claim the cloak made from Great Red Wyvern scales.

Two shards (one of her own and the one from Sal), were used to claim a Meswen tree sapling, which was planted by Dex Montoya's grave in Atrebla.

Michelle,

Thank you for all your help collecting Opal shards and the sacrifice you made to reunify them. Please pick up your tree sapling at the Outback (it will be tagged with your name). Your cloak is included in the attached package.

It seemed to hover a moment then a scream tore the air before it left.

A note was left behind... the parchment pitch black, and the words scrawled in molten silver.

"The Dreamer has taken the Dragon home.
The Dragon has nothing left to give to this place.

The items which he collected during this... event
Shall be turned in for Challenge Rights.

One shall be given to Caleb Feren
With a request to "deal with it".

One shall be given to Eregor
With a request to "endure"

One shall be given to Strawberry Armstrong
With a request to "have fun"".

Those who received challenge rights from Tasslehofl received a note in the mail explaining that these needed to be used before the end of the current cycle.

Jaycy Ashleana wrote: Sun Apr 19, 2020 7:08 pm The paper had been buried for several days; it'd been posted but then "lost" a few days before DQ 101.

Ten personal training sessions from your choice of: Domin8 Fitness, Grindhouse, Dojo of the Unrelenting Spirit, Outback Staff, to be redeemed for Rhi Brock.

Jaycy

Subsequently, another note from the redhead found its way to the board.

I want 2 baby chicks. I'm hungry.

Jaycynda

Jaycy,

We sent a voucher for Rhi's training session directly to her. Since you crushed your shards, you can't really redeem them though, can you? We are thankful for your participation in the search for the shards though and both Diamond Quests, so please find your baby chicks in the attached box.

Karma,

Congratulations on your additional win, and thank you for participating in collecting Opal shards. I know you were very conflicted about it, but we appreciate your participation in Diamond Quest CI. Your tree sapling is waiting for you at the Outback (it will be tagged with your name).

The headless toys were pinned onto the board with a strange, tangy, sticky red “dye” coating them. Congealed white stuffing peeked from jagged threads where the heads were. The dye might have been actual chicken blood. More of the red was scrawled directly on the board, in a single word: “tasty.”

I have 9 shards, I’d like to trade in 5 for 400 gold coins, 2 for 100 gold coins, and another 2 for 100 gold coins.

Earth Day is on Wednesday and Arbor Day is Friday, I have so many good causes I need to donate money to!
