Challenge for IceDancer

Post by Goldglo »

Hope,

Now that you and IceDancer have returned to us (and I am pleased about that on both counts) and you're again able to defend, I'm issuing challenge for your opal.

You Simons just can't help yourselves can you? Some things never change. Is it too late to switch? I'd sooner fight Koy again. I accept.

The challenge will take place this coming Wednesday, April 29, at 9pm by the Eastern Clock. Max will officiate this challenge, as well as the MoonBeryl challenge.

It was a double header tonight at The Outback! And here's all the results for the IceDancer Challenge! (which by the way did not turn my coffee nearby into ice coffee!)

In the first match of the icy best of three challenge, Hope kept control over the entire match. She started out strong with a fist, only trading twice and closing things out by sending Matt to the mat. 😉 Pun intended! Hee heeh!

FINAL: Hope def. Goldglo, 5 – 3 in 8 rounds.

Warmed up now to fight for taking the icy rock, Matt held took a lead over Hope early on. Though Hope returned with a slow and steady comeback, and she tied things up 3 to 3 in the 5th round, it was Matt who scored with a juke and a punch to take the second match!

FINAL: Goldglo def. Hope, 5 - 3 in 7 rounds.

Both fighters had filed a win in their books for the night and Hope started with the first score, looking to run away with it with a lead of 4 -2! But Matt wasn't giving up and he pressed on to get to sudden death! Incredible! In the end, it was Matt with the spinning backhand to take the match and the opal with that Matt Simon Special!

FINAL: Goldglo def. Hope, 5 - 4 in 10 rounds.

Congratulations Matt on your win, reclaiming the Opal and well reigned Hope!
