Spring 2020 Panther’s Claw Tournament Notice!

Dear Patrons,

The Panther’s Claw award is being retired from circulation, meaning this is your last opportunity* to claim the prize! All ranks are welcome to join this tournament, which will be held with special rules** and take place on April 15 at 8pm by the Eastern Clock.

There’s no activity requirement needed to join this event. Format will be determined by the number of entrants. All participants will be awarded the wins they accumulate on the night and everyone who participates will walk away with at least one win, regardless of their record at the end of the evening.

*As further explained here, it’s possible that the Panther’s Claw may return in the future as a cyclical or one-off award. For the immediate future, though, it’s being retired and will be replaced by something new!

**Since this is the last planned opportunity to win the Panther’s Claw title and associated achievement, we’re opening the tournament to characters of all ranks. All entrants will be permitted the use of a maximum of 3 modifiers per duel, regardless of current rank.

Eight duelers joined the single-elimination tournament and the night ended quickly for Rachael, Olaf, Amaris and Matt, none of whom advanced out of Round 1. Kheldar and Ebon were next to go, leaving Karma and Salvador in the tourney finals!

When all was said and done, after battling through two Outback veterans (Matt Simon & Kheldar Drasinia) and one relative newcomer (Karma), Salvador Delahada went undefeated on the night and claimed victory in the last-planned Panther's Claw tournament!
