Text to Mallory: You do that. I'll be tracking down ritual sites and cleansing them. Save me a drink.

Because he hadn't seen Penny in months, Patrick was certain she'd show up the minute he accepted a job that took him away from Rhydin. As such, he'd left her a silly present in her mailbox--just in case his luck was that terrible--because he knew her luck with tech was abominable and she might not ever receive his text. The gift was an Axe Wielding Orcs Warbarge River Parade commemorative pint glass wrapped in brown paper, along with a note written in Patrick's unmistakable handwriting: "Saw this and thought it would make you laugh. Be back soon."

Text to Boss Mallory: Is Avrie at the Red Dragon Inn right now? She didn't come back last night after DQ and I know there's a bunch of weird shit going on in the city right now and it's kind of all I can do just to keep it from falling apart on the Isle.

Text to Boss Mallory: She's not at the Iron Fists Garden either, and Valhalla help her if she's still at the Outback, it looks like pretty decimated right now. City's a bit of a mess right now so I'm not sure how much I can actually look.

Text to Boss Mallory: You know what she looks like? Maybe not. I'll tell you just in case you don't know, she's short and redhaired and has freckles across her nose and kind of always looks bored or pissed off or something.

Text to Phil: haven’t seen her, no. Lots of people missing rn though.
Text to Phil: she tied to the Opals at all? Elements?

Text to Boss Mallory: She's a phoenix, so, y'know, fire. Sent her to the DQ in my place.

Text to Boss Mallory: Keep an eye out for her, please? My boss has already given me tomorrow off provided I look into whatever it was that happened with the Opals. I'll see if I can track her down but I'm also going to send Pjelgr Darius One Who Burns the Brake and whoever else I can convince to risk it to go help with whatever it is that's going on.
