The Morning After

[Hope]

An anxious crowd of reporters and press members sat facing the vacant table in front of the backdrop of various sponsors in black and white. Alone atop the table was a microphone and soon Hope stepped out from the side and took a seat facing the sea of flashes from the cameras. A raucous eruption of chatter took off before the microphone was turned on and the crowd settled down.

"As you are now fully aware of last night I announced the indefinite suspension of one Michelle Montoya from Real Rhy'Din." She took a moment to sip from the glass of water before her.

"Before I accept any questions please let me explain that this is a suspension and not a termination of her contract. I have not terminated anyone from Real Rhy'Din before and I don't see a reason to start now. This is not just a job or a contracted position, we're not mercenaries or journeymen vaulting from one team to another. This is a culture and it's one that I take great pride in. Michelle is going through some difficult times and due to unforeseen circumstances I cannot have her representing this brand at this time. She will be suspended without pay until these issues have been resolved."

The eruption from the reporters was deafening as they began to get picked one at a time.
