Challenge for the Tower of Air

To the Keeper of Air, the Coordinators, and the dueling community at large:


There are few things in this world that I enjoy more than a challenge. This will be the first of such challenges between two Mages who have attained all the titles in this sport. Besides, I grow restless without a Tower to call my own.

I hereby challenge for the Tower of Air.

Let this bout of magical combat live up to the lofty expectations that it should produce.

The prospect of this challenge excites me more than it should. It'll be like old times. Consider your challenge accepted. I look forward to meeting you in the ring once more.

This challenge will take place on Wednesday, September 18th at 8 (EST). The overly chipper mortal known as Eden will be officiating.

This challenge took place at twilight (heeee!) on the Isle!

It took all three fights to settle on a winner of this challenge.

The first fight came down to sudden death, with Claire overcoming a three-point deficit in the final four rounds to take the win, 5.5-4 in 9 rounds!

The second fight also came to sudden death after a challenging see-saw fight! But in the end, it was Xanth who came away with the win, 5-4 in 11 rounds.

The third and final fight was battled in the Tower of Air's ring Anemoi. And this time, after another close battle, it was Xanth walking away with the win and the Tower, after 15 rounds with a score of 5.5-3.5.
