Hi everybody! I came back from Coalhold just to call this exciting challenge for the Barony of Old Temple between the challenger, Gloria Blaze, and the current Baroness of Old Temple, Mairead "Maggie" Harker! This challenge was test-free, courtesy of Gloria's victory in the 2019 Spring Cycle Warlord Tournament.

Tonight, Gloria (who also holds the Tower of Fire) fought wearing the colors of jade and black. Her second was Michelle Montoya, in absentia, and her people of honor were House Royal. Defending the barony, Maggie (the third generation of her family to hold this barony) fought under a banner of midnight snow featuring her spirit animal, the polar bear, and symbols of her heritage. It looked a little like this!:



Her honor court included her squire, Amaris, and her grandparents and parents. Her second was Rachael Blackthorne.

The Baroness elected to defend her title in a single match. After a close couple of early rounds, Gloria managed to run the score up to 4.5-1, but Maggie wasn't giving up that easily! The Baroness brought it back to 4.5-3 with some timely offense and defense, before Gloria closed it out with a quick thrust. Well won, Gloria, and well reigned, Maggie!
