The Rules:
This will be a double-elimination tournament that starts within 10 minutes of the announced start time. Seeding will be done according first to the EMS and then in the order of any sign-ups. Participants do not need to be active on the standings at the time of the tournament.
The Setting:
Diamond Quest #XCVIII will be taking place in the home of the Duel of Fists: The Outback!
Unfortunately, it seems the Outback has sprung a leak. Ruh-roh!
The entire first floor of the Outback is completely flooded, so this Diamond Quest will be an indoor pool party! Maybe this flood wasn’t an accident though because someone just so happened to order pool trampolines to fight on! Fighters can also climb out of the water and fight on Styx, the soggy Fern, or the Bridge!
For spectators, there are plenty of pool toys to float around on, someone set up a pool volleyball net, the bar is now a swim-up bar, and people are doing canon balls off the second floor balcony! There’s also a sweet, floating climbing wall and a floating bull to try and ride on!
The drink of choice for the night is pool water. We have been reassured that it is not actual pool water though. Whatever it is? It’ll knock you on your ass.
The Prizes:
Last fighter standing will earn themselves a shiny Diamond. Oooooo
The second to last fighter standing will receive unicorn inflatable arm swimmies!
All participants and spectators will receive a flamingo floating drink holder
