Boardwalk Bash: No-Loss Night in Duel of Fists!



This Saturday the 15th, dueling will move to Seaside Beach for the Boardwalk Bash! Special rings have been set up among the carnival games and snack stands on the boardwalk, painted with healing wards to protect duelists from each other -- and from the props all around them! Boogie boards, beach umbrellas, oversized plushes, squirt guns, and photo booths are among the hazards that duelists can use to their advantage.

Outback staff have declared that there will be no losses in Fists for the duration of the event -- and duelists who fight in all three sports, as well as those who play the carnival games at the boardwalk, will be entered to win a special prize! Participants will receive one of the following:

• Glow-in-the-dark plastic spider ring
• Balsa airspeeder toy
• Singing sea monkeys aquarium
• Pack of self-filling water balloons
• Deck of tarot cards from the Lyceum
• Coupon for one free pie from Bak’d
• Giant owlbear plush
• Giant wolf plush
• Giant bear plush
• Pack of Pan-Galactic bottle rockets
• Rod of Tides (plastic staff w/ squirt gun)
• Gift certificate and tote bag from Locke D’Vestavio’s L.D. 50 boutique
• Inflatable red dragon raft
• Gold skull-n-crossbones pendant

((Dueling will be in the #annex channel but will use a pinned setting description for Seaside Beach. Any losses incurred in DoF the night of 6/15 will not affect your WoL. Anyone who wants to can visit this open Google Doc to add prizes, and I will update the list here to reflect them.

Duelists who participate in all three sports, as well as anyone who posts about participating in the carnival games in this thread, will be entered to win a prize that will be determined by die roll. Cutoff date for post eligibility is Sunday at 6:00 p.m. ET.

Jewell had spent the day on the beach before showing up to get a few fights with Amaris and Canaan. She did indeed go for a late night swim after that second fight (the cool water helped clear her head!) before "playing" a few boardwalk games, which really just involved getting some rando guy on the boardwalk to win her a giant unicorn at the water gun game (she could have easily won that herself but where was the fun in doing so?). Then she took her giant unicorn and went in search of the current Diamond.
