The Diurnal Sect

One evening Max wandered out onto the Isle and came across the table and all of its cards. At first she stood there for quite some time, just staring at the stacks before a smile slowly grew on her face. Whatever idea had come to her wasn't voiced though, and instead Max waved a goblin over and picked up a card from the Nocturnal Sect and beamed a smile at him.

"I'm going with the Nocturnal Sect please!" She waved at him and then wandered back out through the portal, unaware that there was a dark orb following soon after.

As time ticked to 12:00 AM on Twilight Isle with the dawning of Sunday.. the cards faded to dust.

The Tower of Light & Dark grows quiet as the energies of the Nocturnal Sect coalesce within the crystallized structure and shape its hue to darkened purple. Though the Dark has triumphed it is not without light, as a single flicker of its ember remains deep within the heart of the tower -- waiting.
