The Red Dragon Inn

I've played in some version of the Red Dragon Inn on three different sites now (GEnie, AOL, and Dragonsmark). I'll be perfectly honest, I miss it. I miss the little bits of history, I miss Ebon pouring himself a mug of Fayalki's Blend tea, I miss Guido and the Stew.

Like so many who've already posted more eloquently than I could, I support bringing back an IC RDI channel... and I also support keeping the Golden Perch, because it has been developed and fleshed-out as a unique and thriving environment in its own right!

Just a quick note to say thank you to all of you who have participated in this discussion. It is very helpful to us, as staff, to see this sort of thing and get a good idea of the mindset of the community. The Discord lobby is great and it's awesome to always have people talking about this or that, but we aren't always around and the room is, frankly, way too busy to scroll back and see what we missed on a regular basis. Getting thoughts like this on the forum preserves them a bit better and allows us all to take stock.

Your opinions are always welcome, so thanks for dropping by and sounding off on what's sorta been the elephant in the room for a while now (though, note, we'd love to hear from you on any other thoughts you have for the site or discord server too!). We have a little ground work to lay before anything can happen; but know that you've all been heard and we'll be making some things happen in the not too distant future.

Due to having been on vacation, I'm late to this discussion. Just about everything I had thought of on the subject has already been said. I fully support bringing the Red Dragon Inn to the Discord server. Nothing needs to be taken away to make room and we would just be saying, "hello" again to an old and familiar friend.
