A Seaside Celebration

Senior Baroness Vaeluthil Rosemary Marigold Whitevale is celebrating two years as Baroness of Seaside this weekend! To celebrate, the Annex will host a very special party on Friday night with plenty of food, drinks, and a present for those who duel in the little Baroness’s favored sport. Everyone who partakes in Swords on Friday will go home with a gift basket bearing all of Vael’s favorite candies along with a bouquet of everbloom flowers that will last through even the darkest days of winter as well as their very own ironwood dagger and a loss forgiveness token good for wiping one future loss from your record, valid through the end of next cycle. Don’t want to duel, just want to party? Those who don’t get a duel in still can take home a spectator’s basket full of candy, juice, and flowers too!

On Saturday, December 16th (the actual anniversary!), the Seaside Baronial Manor will be open to the public for the first time since race riots overwhelmed the city earlier this year. From 2p-6p, partake of tea with the Baroness in the courtyard, a whimsical wicker laced locale that is kept at a temperate 75 degrees year round. Enjoy the exotic flowers of the Buzzeria Memorial Garden, tour the grounds and manor, and even take advantage of a photo op in Seaside’s dungeon underneath the manor. As soon as the sun goes down, view the manor’s first Yule lighting, a spectacular display of fairy and electric lights that bathes the grounds in an ethereal glow. Gingerbread cookies and hot chocolate will be available for those that stay for the lighting.

All are invited, though the Baroness wishes to remind those attending that anyone creating “the dramas” will be summarily tossed off the back cliff accordingly.

Friday night will be a live event held in ROH’s Annex. Saturday’s open house is a vapored, board only event.

Includes more candy than you’ll know what to do with, half a dozen everbloom flowers, and a handful of juice boxes in various flavors.

Sugar Cookie & Snowflake Martinis (Alcoholic)

Food

A fully stocked candy bar along with a few (halfway) sensible eats like mozzarella sticks and sliders
