Friday Night Fire Star Challenge!

Addie's challenge, brought out Charlie Nine from some kind of Hiatus. It only went for two matches, but...

Addie came out really strong in the first one going untouched for two rounds before Charlie managed to pull back a point. It was negated two rounds later as Addie pushed her lead to 3-1 in round 5. Charlie battled back taking the next two rounds and tying it up. Addie jumped ahead again in the 8th round only to lose the next two and the first match.

Resolute .def. Addie, 5-4 in 11

Match number two had Charlie jumping out ahead, and garnering a lead of 2-0 in round three. Rounds for and five were all Addie's though as she came from behind and tied it up. It stayed that way through the next round, but Addie managed to keep some small part of her roll going and went ahead 4-3 in the seventh round. Charlie tied it back up in the eight, and went on to win it in the ninth.

Resolute .def. Addie, 5-4 in 9

Charlie Nine retains the opal. Congratulations Charlie, well defended. Nice try Addie! It was an exciting pair of matches!!
