Nick Allen: "You can, or you can hinder me. As the new Overlord, you determine if I am to remain as squire, or go home with just another note on the resume." He didn't mind waiting. People his parents age often made him wait.

JewellRavenlock: You put this **** on your resume? ::Startled laughter:: What are you applying for, kid?

Nick Allen: "Martyr I guess? I'm trying to work my way up to hero, but I need to start at the bottom... in the mail room as it were." Out with the I'm adorable grin. Playing along he could do too.

JewellRavenlock: What's a mail room? ::Baffled, she shook her head:: Fine. Stop with your long speeches. They make my head hurt. You can keep the shield. We'll set up a training schedule or something I guess.

I'm alive... After a fashion.

As people may or may not be aware, I had to take a break from things for a while as I dealt with my health. Last November, I had gone into Kidney Failure due to my kidneys being full up with Stones. I spent 3 days in the hospital and had to deal with several procedures to clear up the mess. In the process, I was so sick that I ended up losing about 30 lbs and could only focus on RL things.

Suffice to say, I am doing a great deal better.

I want to give much love to Taneth for her warm welcome upon my return to RPing during the Overlord challenge. It felt good to be back and she was such a sweetheart.

I just want to give a shout out to the Annex crowd last night.

For me, it was a great example of how much fun a night of random, unplanned interactions can be (especially when you leave yourself open to interacting with the room at large).

The rape whistle conversation between Myu and Misery? So great! I totally want to run with an idea spawned from that.

Cane, Dris, and Rena waiting for Jewell to kill Diarmid? Arabella treating Kal like the help and asking if Jewell was Queen of the place? Andu dueling half asleep all night (did Rachael have to drag him out of the ring at the end there?).

So much fun overall. Thank you for letting me be a part of it :)
