Duelists beware you're in for a scare..!
Twilight Isle will be hosting a Halloween themed tournament on October 29th at 9 PM on the Eastern Clock! The big prize of the evening? The Tower of Water! Duelists of all ranks.. erm, if you aren't a title holder already on Twilight Isle, are encouraged to come out and participate! Yes, that means even if you're below the rank of sorcerer! All duelists will be fighting at their listed rank on the standings and seeding will be done by sign ups! ((Please see OOC information at the bottom of this post for more details.))
Please make sure before you sign up that you have at least one regulation duel logged since week one of the previous cycle. That means you need ONE regulation fight since July 1st. Don't have one yet? It's okay, you've got time to log one! I'll be keeping an eye on the reports and if you log a duel during the week leading up to the tournament it will be counted.
Depending on entries the tournament will either be single or double elimination.
Pumpkin Bombs
Duelists will be given Pumpkin Bombs at the beginning of each match! Light them up.. but don't hold onto them for long! After a few seconds they will explode and pepper whoever's in range with potent pumpkin spice. ((Pumpkin Bombs act as an Elemental Fury and can be used once per duel.))

((It's worked well, so we will adhere to a 5 minute casting limit each round in order to try and keep the tourney from running too late. Exceeding 5 minutes once will result in a friendly reminder from the caller. Anything after that will result in a mis-cast, meaning no spell was invoked and the opponent's spell scores for maximum damage. After a mis-cast, the duelist is still not allowed to use whatever spell they most recently used. That way the mis-cast does not serve as a type of disengage. In the case anyone needs more than 5 minutes for an urgent/special circumstance, please alert the caller, opponent, and the room so they they know you need a few minute and will return asap. IMPORTANT: While all ranks are allowed to enter, per the DoM rules, if a non-sorcerer has the title, they will have no grace period until hitting sorcerer rank or above.))
