I know I said thanks to some of our callers in my previous post, but I just want to say a big thank you to ALL our callers.
You show up night after night. Sometimes you sit around and have nothing to do and you sit there anyway just in case. Sometimes you have an endless stream of duels that keep you up far later than you had planned.
You're all awesome. Our community wouldn't exist without you.

Seconded. I can't stress this enough. Thank you to everyone who gives their time when they could be playing or doing other things instead. It's hugely appreciated.JewellRavenlock wrote:I know I said thanks to some of our callers in my previous post, but I just want to say a big thank you to ALL our callers.

Ammy, I'm enjoying reading about what lead your character to learn about the duels and her experiences so far in your posts here!

Thank you to everyone who dropped by the Isle last night for the little impromptu party we had. It was great seeing so much RP to go with the dueling, even from people who don't typically frequent Twilight Isle. Big thanks to DUEL Apple for calling and being a sounding board for my silly 1 AM planning thoughts too. Couldn't have done it without you!

It was a fun event :) I usually can't play on Tuesdays, but it was nice that my night off coincided with this event.Bat Outta Hell wrote:Thank you to everyone who dropped by the Isle last night for the little impromptu party we had. I can't wait for Jewell to use her good luck potion for her Hydra duel on Friday!

WOW! Thank you to everyone who came out to the Battlefield Park Squire Tournament and Party.
It was so busy and there were SO many duels, I didn't get to interact with all of you as much as I hoped, but calling all those duels was amazing.
A HUGE thanks to my volunteers:
Apple, Hope, Claire, and Jewell who played our ghosts in the tournament. Eden for helping me call duels and staying late when people wanted to keep dueling.
Thank you to the sport coordinators who worked with me on moving the setting for Fight Night.
Thank you Amaltea for opening up the Battlefield Park Chatroom for the event.
Thank you everyone for participating, having fun with the setting, and just making this a real success.
Thank you to Nat, Kruger, Belle, and Noah for signing up for the tournament.
Thanks to Nat and Belle for being understanding when I screwed up the winner announcement. This was my first time running something like this and yeah, I had a spaz moment and forgot my own rules and got a wee bit overwhelmed!!!
Thanks to everyone else for not making me feel like a moron. lol
Eden and I called SEVENTEEN (17!) DUELS tonight!!!
Basically. I love you all. Thank you again.

I just wanted to echo the praise for Sabine's event this past Sunday. It was so creative and engaging! There were fun things to interact with and the costumes were really fun. I also particularly loved the way the tournament involved duelers at all levels. That was very clever and really fun to watch! Really awesome, Sabine!
Also wanted to thank Apple for the fun week-long-event she's been running in DoF. It's been fun to watch all of the extra activity in DoF, seeing fighters at all ranks testing themselves and jockeying for position for one of the prizes. It's been really fun!
And those are just two of the fun events we've had this summer, including Lilith's Twilight Isle Luau and Jewell's Block Party, and then all the fun Challenge or Hydra nights. I've been brewing ideas since Laser Tag night, but it's been so busy I've just been keeping those on the backburner, waiting for a lull that hasn't come!
Thank you everyone for all your effort and helping make the duels fun and lively!
I'm not sure I've said 'fun' enough in this post. FUN FUN FUN!

Apple,
Thank you so much for the Stoke the Fire tournament! It was a lot of fun and a great way just to get people out doing DoF. Thanks to the callers for being awesome always and everyone I fought ☺ I had fun in every single duel.
JC, way to keep it insanely close! I'll catch you next time and Jewell can have her pit revenge mwahaha

I want to say thank you to all the people who take their time out to mentor someone in the duels.
It makes a huge difference. You are making a huge difference.
Just look a the current list of active Sapphires. Aric and Kruger are both being actively mentored by someone and will be hitting Emerald soon. I just hit Emerald last night because I have been actively mentored.
Thank you to the mentors in all three sports :) You're helping keep this place alive and fun.
Also, personal thanks to my mentor. Kal didn't give up when I took forever to get to Warlord (he even helped me after Jewell wasn't his squire anymore) and then stuck with me for the #slowestemeraldrise ever. Thanks for explaining feints to me fifty million times. I promise to only ask another hundred or so. You get the award for best mentor because I say so.
