One night only! Sunday, September 27th at 9:00 PM by the Eastern Clock, the Duel of Magic welcomes spellcasters of all abilities for the Fall All Ranks Tournament! Come out and fight at Wizard ranking for a chance to win one of several prizes. As usual, there will be plenty of spell slinging, food, and other shenanigans.
You're totally interested more in the food and festivities than the prizes, I'm sure, but here's what we've got in store:
First off, all entrants who pre-register before 9:00 PM on Saturday the 26th and show up by 8:55 PM on the night of the tournament will receive 1 win right off the bat. Please make sure before you sign up that you have at least one regulation duel logged since week one of the previous cycle. That means you need ONE regulation fight since July 12th. Don't have one yet? It's okay, you've got 2 weeks to log one!
Anyways. Top performers have a shot at taking home even more! Don’t place in the top 6? That’s okay! Everyone takes home their wins tonight. Not just WoLs, WINS!
First place: 5 Wins (or the number of Wins you rack up through the tournament, whichever is greater) plus your choice of one of the below prizes.
Second Place: Earned Wins (Max 4) plus your choice of one of the below prizes.
Third Place: Earned Wins (Max 3) plus your choice of one of the below prizes.
Fourth Place: Earned Wins (Max 2) plus your choice of one of the below prizes
Fifth & Six Place: Take your pick of the remaining prizes.

-The Key to the Tower of Air! With Neo's retirement, the Tower of Air is without a Keeper. I hear it has the best view on the Isle.
-The Spirit Staff for the remainder of the cycle. Call the power of the elements down upon your foes once per duel.

-Pocket Golem. Dumber than a pile of rocks but pretty cute. Six inches tall and made of...well...rocks, you too can have your very own pocket golem!

All entrants must have 1 activity duel within past cycle (since July 12th).
Format will be single elimination for greater than 10 people, double elimination for less than 10
Seeding will be based first on RoK Rankings, followed by sign up or walk in time for those that don't pre-register. Earth gems must be used by the end of the next cycle or they will become inventory icons.
It's worked well, so we will adhere to a 5 minute casting limit each round in order to try and keep the tourney from running too late. Exceeding 5 minutes once will result in a friendly reminder from the caller. Anything after that will result in a mis-cast, meaning no spell was invoked and the opponent's spell scores for maximum damage. After a mis-cast, the duelist is still not allowed to use whatever spell they most recently used. That way the mis-cast does not serve as a type of disengage. In the case anyone needs more than 5 minutes for an urgent/special circumstance, please alert the caller, opponent, and the room so they they know you need a few minute and will return asap. ]]
The Light doth command me to participate in this. Upon my appearance, all should take heed and forfeit their future matches as the Light has predetermined the outcome of this tournament.

Also, Grace must be vanquished. The Light commands it as she has delayed her conversion for too long.
I'm sorry that I won't be able to make this tournament this go around, but I hope we can meet up in the rings soon! I also got you this present, and I hope you like it!

The Light does not find amusement in the frock you have provided. The Light finds it to be an inappropriate mockery of that which encompasses all. The Light rejects your garment and wishes you to know that you shall be suitably punished.
