Hello hello :)

Despite the implications here, I actually left Jewell off the line-up this week for IFL because I am getting surgery tomorrow. Hurrah!

My foot is recovering very well from the traumatic experience [read: reconstructive foot surgery] that I subjected it to last month. I'm still in a cast for a few more weeks, but I'm doing better at moving around on my crutches.

Up next: Heading to Philly tomorrow to get the husband some long overdue treatment for his brain injury. I'm semi-optimistic that the insurance company won't find yet another way to delay this and screw us over :)

Husband is home from the hospital and I am ready to be back in action!

Up next: What ever happened to Jewell's kids?

Also, if you aren't keeping up with Evelyn's Out of Sync you should be.

Exsanguination is a re-do of the unfinished "La Politiques de Fée" storyline. The first few posts are fairly similar before it diverges into the story it was meant to be.

It is really a continuation of the story begun in Things Fall Apart and Save Me.

JenJen, I like that if you look at my character avatar and then scroll down to look at yours, they look like they might be giving each other the ol' stink eye.

In addition to everything I've been writing for RP funnsies, I have also been working on my blog with my sister. I was supposed to wait until tomorrow to put up my first post, but I am super impatient so:

Warning: If you are triggered by depictions of self-injury, then you should stay away from the latest Exsanguination post.

I choose to tackle such subjects in Jewell's stories because they are important to me, and I think they are important topics to discuss. Self-injury has been a part of Jewell's story for a long time; it was my way of trying to understand something that I didn't know how to cope with as a teenager. Now it's just my way to keep the conversation going.

I deleted the last two Exsanguination posts. I don't care for how they read, and I am working on rewriting them.
