Did it get postponed? When will Cory get his shot at Overlord? I'm so confused. Can someone please explain this to me?

Wow, there's a new Overlord, to be official with the next standings update of course. Who'da thunk it?

I wonder, what does that mean for this challenge? Does it get scrapped entirely until after the upcoming Warlord Tournament, where it would likely have to be reissued upon the conclusion of the match between the Overlord and WLT winner?

Or am I just completely off base with my assumption? Someone help me!

Given the overall circumstances, it might be fair to award Cory the right to earn the Barony that Terry recently retired. It serves little purpose that he should be screwed over utterly. He challenged for a title, he could face a champion of sorts for the right to claim Dragon's Gate. Usually a retired Barony goes as a prize in an upcoming Warlord Tourament, however does this not count as a special circumstance?

I am with Harris, what does last nights events mean for Cory's Overlord challenge?

One would assume he would get an automatic green light to challenge the current Overlord, or withhold until after the Warlord Tournament. I forget if there is a time limit on these things before it becomes unusable, but I'd think he can sit on this at least until the next grant is given out?

I would say, let's wait for one of the coordinators to weigh in rather than speculating. Nothing that has been mentioned aligns with the rules as they're set so exceptions fall to G and what'sherface.

I would like to assure you that G and I are aware of the questions currently being posed and are in the process of making decisions. This is not a matter to be decided quickly so we ask that you please be patient and give us the time required to properly investigate this matter and offer a fair ruling. Also, G's eyesight isn't what it once was so reading through all of these tomes of rules and histories takes time due to eye strain. Thank you for understanding.

Nothing about any of this has been decided quickly. There has been over a month since the challenge was issued to decide what was going to happen when it finally became Cory's turn.
