Want to be the Squire of Old Market?!

The flyer was printed out in bold black text on a neon-pink paper posted on the bulletin in the Arena.

It wasn't my idea but most of my ideas involve one man or violence so I decided to go with it. The sword is a mighty weapon that has changed the course of fate as well as condemned those who could not wield it with the utmost respect, or perhaps they were just too slow. Well I heard once while eavesdropping on Shadow (just kidding (not!) ) that a pen is mightier than a sword. I first thought he meant you could conceal a pen much easier and stab someone in the throat or eye with it- which is still true mind you! However I have come to learn through some diligent studying that instead it means that not everything in life can be solved with a sword. So if you are interested in becoming my Squire there are three easy steps. 1) Write me a haiku explaining why you should be my Squire. 2) Post that haiku on the board so that I may read it and everyone else may as well (your pen should be as bold as your sword- fearless!). 3) If no one participates you can simply ask me the next time you see me and it'll probably be yours for the taking.

Shortly after the announcement was made, a few pieces of perpetually damp sheets of paper were pinned to the board. The small witch may have been slightly overzealous and creepy, but the pen was bold as requested!
