I got this grant so I figured if I have a free shot, I'm going to go for the best of the best. That and it won't be far to move in the off chance I win. I challenge for New Haven.

It is I! Your favorite, friendly, prettiest duel calling official here again to report that I was present and accounted for to referee this match between the Baron of New Haven Jake Thrash and your Queen of the Halloween Ring Jin "Jenny" Chae!

Instead of dulling you with my own super elaborated recap of the night's events, which included dodging exploding bottles of scotch and randomly floating tables created by Tara on her never-ending search for the ever-elusive Rena (please help us by confronting her and putting an end to this nonsense!)...

Once again I bribed the Isle's Goblins to put together this magical scroll for your viewing pleasure.

In a single duel, Jake Thrash retains his title as the Baron of New Haven. Well tried, Jin! Well defended, Jake! Stay tuned until next time, because the requests for my gloriously beautiful presence just keep coming in!

DUEL Dris: "Ladies, gentlemen, and assorted gendered guests... May I have your attention and direct it to the center stage, please! Tonight we are gathered to bear witness to the Challenge for New Haven!"

DUEL Dris: "In the RED corner! Fighting under the standard bearing the colors of black and blue, with Best PiRATe Napoloean Bonarat acting as his second, and the ever so darling Taneth Mercer as his Lady of Honor. Standing to the defense as the at present 15th Baron of New Haven, or 31st holder of the 13th Baronial Ring, Jake the Most Marvelous Brewer Thrash!"

DUEL Dris: "In the BLUE corner! Fighting under the standard bearing the Taeguki of South Korea, with Charlie Nine acting as second, and the following list standing in as her people of honor -- Charlie Nine, KC, Laine Chae, and Grace Frigg -- we have the challenger, first place winner of the Halloween Havoc contest and Queen of the Ring, Jin 'Jenny' Chae!"

DUEL Dris: "Tonight's match will be a single elimination contest as decided by the Baron. Whoever wins this one bout walks home with the prize! Will Jake maintain his power? Or will the lovely young lady steal it away from him? Let's find out! Sir, and Lady, take your positions and begin when ready!"

DUEL Dris: NEW HAVEN 1: "Your Queen of the Ring is starting us off taking the direct approach and sticking it to the Baron to land herself first blood and first point!" (LC / TH) 1 - 0 JC

DUEL Dris: NEW HAVEN 2: "I'm not bellyachin', Tara! I'm tryin' ta call a challenge match here! Look. Lookit that! This rather talented young lady is steppin' away with some fine moves, but Jake's knockin' 'er block off t' tie up the score. TARA pay attention!" (HC / FSS ) 1 All

DUEL Dris: NEW HAVEN 3: "Jin did not like having her head bashed in so much that previous round that she seems to have decided to show Jake exactly what it feels like and take back the lead in this one." (FCP / HC) 2 - 1 JC

DUEL Dris: NEW HAVEN 4: "Their weapons dip down together to share a kiss this round, but nobody's scoring. So while Tara hunts the elusive Rena, we'll stick around a bit more and see what happens in round five." (LC / LC) 2 - 1 JC

DUEL Dris: NEW HAVEN 5: "Jake takes charge here to try to give Jin a piece of his mind, but she's stepping out of his reach and saying 'no thank you, sir!' to edge herself a little more further up into the lead." (TH / SS) 2.5 - 1.0 JC

DUEL Dris: NEW HAVEN 6: "Well, she doesn't exactly look like a duck, and I haven't heard her quack, but suffice it to say that Jake is spearing himself some dinner here in the form of your Queen of the Ring." (LC / DU) 2.5 - 2.0 JC

DUEL Dris: NEW HAVEN 8: "Now this is more like it! Exactly what I was waiting for!" Slams his cane into the ground. Fireworks shoot off the end, exploding over the ring and raining sparkly glitter down on the crowd. "For the IMPeror! They're both scoring." (TH / TH) 4.0 - 3.5 Jake

DUEL Dris: NEW HAVEN 9: "Once again the Baron and Jin smack their tools together. During this brief intermission, let's allow ourselves to be entertained by Tara's continuing search for the ever-elusive Rena." (LC / LC) 4.0 - 3.5 Jake

DUEL Dris: NEW HAVEN 10: "Oh hey! Again? Sure! We can do it again!" Slams the butt of the cane against the floor, and up shoot bottle rockets that explode into spiraling paper streams and and more sparkling glitter that rains down on the ring and the crowd. "But more IMPortantly... we move onto another round. So close, but no cigar yet!" (TH / TH) 5.0 - 4.5 Jake

DUEL Dris: NEW HAVEN 11: "Here we see our defender and challenger doing an instant replay of that moment in time from five rounds back, and in so doing Jake Thrash retains the title of Baron of New Haven!" (LC / DU) 6.0 - 4.5 Jake

DUEL Dris: "Well fought, you two! Well done keeping us on our toes! Nice try, Your Majesty Chae!" He flourishes a bow to Jin with a wink, then rises up and sweeps off his hat to hold it to his chest. Clicking his heels together smartly with a nod to Jake. "And well defended, Brewmaster Baron!"
