Dread Pirate Bloodwood

The Dread Pirate Bloodwood returns for his pearl! The Twilight Isle coast is no longer safe with the Dread Pirates ship looming in the distance.
The sounds of cannons fill the air while skeletal buccaneers arrive on the sands to pillage and plunder.

A small group of goblin scouts have discovered their attack plans. The Dread Pirate himself will be storming the beach on Sunday, September the 21st at 9 PM (EST)!

Heroes for hire! Sign up below and offer your aid!

___________ ( OOC Boss Information ) ___________

The fight will be a 10 man fight. Sign ups will be first come first serve.
Anyone signing up after the first 10 will be put on the reserve list. If a player cannot show, the first person on the reserved list will take their place.

Abilities - Boss Specific

Duelists and the Boss will use the DoM Matrix. NR / IMMO / EF and Foci will not be used in this encounter.

Gunpowder Blitz

The Dread Pirate Bloodwood's weapon malfunctions. Everyone takes 1 point of damage while the boss takes 1 for every member of the party still in the fight.

Abilities - Ghost Ship

Man the Cannons

The ghost ship fires! Cannons blaze through the air and crash down on the party.

Any duelist who uses offensive abilities will take 1 point of damage.
Only defensive moves will damage the Dread Pirate Bloodwood this round.

Booze Cruise

One of the skeleton pirates thought it was a good idea to shoot a barrel of
Grade-A magic ale from the cannons. Whoever this hits will become
intoxicated and attack a random party member. This lasts only the turn it is used.

Players intoxicated will be unable to attack the round this is used and will instead attack other party members.

The boss will take all damage that the non-intoxicated party members throw his way.

**Almost half of the party will be chosen to be intoxicated by random number generator.**
** Could be used up to two times. **

Ahni stared at the bulletin board, mouth agape. "This... this is..." Coppery head canted to the side in thought. "This is the awesome!" On the signup form, she scrawled a picture of a lily with vines surrounding it -- the symbol she used to indicate herself.

The salty, skeletal dogs of the Rude Tide have wiped me out for the weekend, and I will henceforth withdraw from this hunt. Good luck to everyone. Send the Dread Pirate Bloodwood back to his dark shores!

TWILIGHT ISLE NEWS: THE DREAD PIRATE IS VANQUISHED!

The last photo of the Raven's Revenge as it sails off from Twilight Isle

Thanks to Grace, Gren, Blue, Matt, Kishi, and Ahni -- along with the mutinous crew led by Shark Bait, the Dread Pirate Bloodwood has been defeated!

Unknown to the competitors, there was a bounty on the head of the Dread Pirate. Each hero will be given a cut of the TWENTY THOUSAND SILVER NOBLES bounty. Matt Simon, who is believed to have done the most damage to Bloodwood throughout the conflict, will be rewarded five thousand of the bounty, while the others will be given three for their help.

Twilight Isle thanks all of you for helping rid its shores of the pirate menace!
