The Desperado Tournament

After nine weeks of gruelin' duelin', swingin' gun-slingin', and matchin'(?) action, it's time for final Tournament of the season. That's right, we're going to crown ourselves the Battleground's very first DESPERADO! Only two duelists have climbed above the rest, shooting their way up in the ranks to become Pariahs worthy of competing for the most fashionable and desirable title in Dust Town (besides El Presidente, because Lord Imperius is the BEST!)

In one corner, we've got Judge Fredd! Criminals beware, The Judge's gun Lawgiver is as high-tech as they come, and the man's on a warpath. Winner of the recent Tournament of Pariahs, The Judge has given up less than two points to his opponents on average, and HAS NEVER BEEN DEFEATED!

In the other corner, it's Ace! Everyone loves Ace! Especially the laaaaadies! The Battleground's most prolific gunslinger, Ace's record isn't unblemished, but he holds the most overall wins this season and took third place in the recent Tournament of Pariahs! Can Ace, Champion of the People, do what he has failed to do in the past and defeat Judge Fredd to become the first ever Desperado?

We're gonna find out this upcoming Saturday, May 24th, at 7pm (EST)! Since this tournament is more like a challenge, with only two duelists, the format will be best two-out-of-three matches between these two gun-fighters. And the winner will go down in Duel of Guns history as The First Desperado!

Two men entered. One man left in the other man's arms. No, I ain't talking about a story of man-love, I'm talking about the DESPERADO TOURNAMENT!

Our only two Pariahs, Ace and Judge Fredd, stepped onto the Battleground in a format that closely resembled a best two-out-of-three challenge match. They faced each other, and the newly unveiled SPINNING WHEEL O' DEATH to see what obstacles they'd be pitted against each duel.

In the end, Ace gave Judge Fredd his first defeat of the season, but it wasn't enough! Judge Fredd won the first and third match, and has become the first ever Desperado of the Duel of Guns! WHOOO!

RDL Yuknon: ::One of the Judge's explosive rounds catches one of the half-dozen slagbots. The rundown killing machine begins to shake violently as its motherboard fries.:: "This ... unit ... was never programmed ... to observe ... Paris ..." ::it explodes a moment later::
