Big props to Bane for organizing and single-handedly calling his Opal Grant tournament. It's a boon to us all when players get involved with things like that. I hope whether you were there watching or dueling that you enjoyed it. Please say a 'thank you' to Bane when you see him online.

To the players of Shadowlord and Claire Farron - you guys ran a really great event that was designed to be inclusive of everyone. Whether you enjoy dueling or not as a player or character, there was some way to participate in the Orphanage event. Hope there's another one to come!

Gosh, thank you so much for your words, Matt. I want to also praise the callers, Misty and Pad, for enduring an exceptionally busy night and doing it with the aplomb and skill they always display. I'd also like to praise the fighters, some of whom were last-minute, in the event. And of course, praise goes out to the community for supporting it all. Thank you, everyone!Goldglo wrote:To the players of Shadowlord and Claire Farron - you guys ran a really great event that was designed to be inclusive of everyone. Big big thanks to the players of Kalamere and Jake Thrash (and others who worked behind the scenes to make it possible) for orchestrating the return of the Iron Fists League. I for one have been lamenting the lack of IFL since 2008, when it didn't return for its third season.
For those who didn't participate this season, make sure you get in on the next one! The more teams, the more people involved, the more fun there is to be had!
Thanks also to the captains and duelers, especially you first-timers, who signed on and got your first taste of true league play. I hope in between the wins and losses you all found time to enjoy yourselves.
Lastly, congratulations to the Badside Brawlers who kept the level of competition high all season long and brought home their 2nd consecutive championship.

IFL was great. Minimal drama! This means we had a whole lot of people committed to having a great time and being flexible and staying on top of emails to set things up.
I loved all the content as well! Each week we had at least one, but often three or more articles to read. And the In Your Face footage was a lot of fun.
I go back and reread G's team outlooks and I still laugh at how funny they were.
It's no secret that I love team dueling, tourneys, and events. I spend more time there than in regulation, as my poor standings performance will prove.
Thanks to everyone for a fun IFL and see y'all at the Powerhouse Party!
And because I love events so much, everyone convince Kalamere to do Duel Assassin again.![Twisted Evil ](./images/smilies/icon_twisted.gif)
