Duel 1:

Ring Poseidon round 1! Myria doesn't need to swim, when she can just lash out with her mind! Claire is, however, not in the spell's target area. (DI/MW) .5-0 Claire

Ring Poseidon round 2! Oh, I almost forgot the disco blowfish! ::The ArCane waved, and several fish within the watery sea-column began to glow and flicker, some blue, some green, some red. Some pink.:: Now then, Myria's obscurement cannot protect her from Claire's sharp offense! (WB/FF) 1.5-0 Claire

Ring Poseidon round 3! Myria tries to put the fear of something into Claire, but Claire's mind has other ideas! (FMW/FT) 3-0 Claire

Ring Poseidon round 4! I hear there's a way to prepare blowfish, if you know what you're doing, that has less of a chance of killing the diner. Which is probably good for business. Also, Myria's got brains too, pushing her mental attack right through Claire's armor! (AR/MW) 3-1 Claire

Ring Poseidon round 5! Myria summons a storm of rocks, or perhaps seashells. Whatever her meteor shower's made of, Claire's too insubstantial to be hit by it! (FGF/MS) 4-1 Claire

Ring Poseidon round 6! Claire gets back to the mental attack, but Myria's returning those thoughts to sender! (MW/RF) 4-2 Claire

Ring Poseidon round 7! Sparks fly! And yikes, water really conducts electricity. Both ladies blast away, but only one is the victor of this first match! (MB/MB) 5-3 Claire

Ring Poseidon 2 round 1! Claire's pulling out the big ray, but Myria keeps up with a magic bolt! (NR/MB) 1-1

Ring Poseidon 2 round 2! Claire's sending a swarm of meteors - or their equivalent - at Myria, who wisely chooses to get out of the way! (MS/DI) 1.5-1 Myria

Ring Poseidon 2 round 3! Myria's mental assault is reflected right back by Claire's timely spell! (RF/MW) 2-1.5 Claire

Ring Poseidon 2 round 4! Myria goes the sharp route, but Claire's not of this world, at the moment! (GF/WB) 2.5-1.5 Claire

Ring Poseidon 2 round 5! Claire tries to put the fear of..something exceptionally bad, into Myria! But you can't scare a ghost! (FFT/GF) 2.5-2 Claire

Ring Poseidon 2 round 6! Claire's bringing the rocks - glitter? - but Myria manages to obscure herself from the attack, to tie the score! (MS/FF) 2.5-2.5

Ring Poseidon 2 round 7! Claire's obscurement cannot confuse the shielded Myria! (FF/SH) 3-2.5 Myria

Ring Poseidon 2 round 8! Claire's big ray can't pierce Myria's timely protection! (NR/AR) 3.5-2.5 Myria

Ring Poseidon 2 round 9! Myria tries more obscurement ::Enough to cause the glowing fish to wink out for a moment:: But Claire's not substantial enough to appreciate it! Back to tied! (FGF/FFF) 3.5-3.5

Ring Poseidon 2 round 10! It's like round one, but it's round ten! Claire lays on the glitter-ray, and Myria zaps her back! Sudden death! (NR/MB) 4.5-4.5

Ring Poseidon 2 round 11! Myria shifts from zapping to brain-zapping! But she can't find Claire's brain! (FDI/MW) 5.5-4.5 Claire

And so, in two duels Claire was victorious, and earned the right to hold the Key to the Tower of Water! Well won Claire, and well reigned, Myria!
