Duelingzone site looks to be back up. I was having errors trying to check out the team page 15 minutes ago, but I just checked and it's working again.

Huh.. yeah, it's working now. It was throwing 500 level errors at me when I was trying it at work, indicating an error between DZ and google, but I couldn't get on from my office to check the logs.

Oh well.. carry on, nothing to see here.

Attention potential Hydra participants!

For this year's Hydra, given the new format, we needed to put a bit more work into the Hydra Dashboard (link presently only good for archive information). One of the things I needed in place, because of the way scheduling will work, is a user database. Rather than creating a new one, we will be leveraging the IFL database.

If you plan to participate in Hydra but have never taken part in IFL, please visit the IFL site and create yourself a user account ( http://ifl.duelingzone.org/iflbb/ucp.php?mode=register)

If you plan to captain / assistant captain a team and already have an IFL account, please visit the site and confirm your password still works and/or attempt resetting it.

Please do not make a new account if you already have one. Doing so confuses user tracking for the sport(s) and really isn't much fun to clean up. Just drop me a PM if you aren't able to log in and I will be happy to assist.

For Hydra I don't expect to make much / any use of the profile information, so don't worry about that if you aren't also an IFL player. For now I just need to be able to associate you with a user id in the system so we can track team membership, scoring, etc.

I hope I'm not asking anyone to divulge any state secrets, but who is running teams, hmm? Who needs a team to run? Who wants to be run? What familiar teams should we expect to see this year?

Season schedule is posted, captain's should be able to be able to begin doing lineups at this point.

If you have any issues with the tool or website in general, please ping me and I'll take care of it. If the problem is with the scheduling tool, send me your lineup.

The only known issue right now is that Chem.Burn will not be able to schedule Minion until there's an IFL account I can associate with the team.

The Playoff Schedule won't be up until this weeks Duels are finished. With that in mind, a team that advances but doesn't have a listed opponent will not be penalized for waiting until Monday after the final duel of this week. You can wait until the Playoff schedule is completely posted and submit your lineups plus contact opponents by Wednesday, or submit a blind lineup on Sunday.
