As always you neatly miss my point.

I'm not comparing myself to you. Wouldn't dream of doing it in the Arena. I'm chiming in on you comparing your captaining to Candy's. She elevates herself by, you know, actually dueling. During Hydra, in the Arena, etc. While you're here arguing with me.

I can at least appreciate your moxie though. So when Tical goes the way of the Bode, feel free to ring me up.

That doesn't make a bit of sense. You're acknowledging that I've got cred but then saying that I don't back up my mouth? That's a giant load of crap. I always put my bat where my mouth is.

I've done more than my share of dueling. I did it in TDL. I've done it in the Arena. I've got a fair number of titles to my name. But I also combine it by being a vocal presence in the community and by supporting my team members in the pursuit of their goals which she lacks.

No, I'm not dueling right now and while I'm sure in that itty bitty pea that serves as your brain that means I should shut up during the length of my pregnancy, that's not going to happen. Because I've earned the right to say whatever the hell I want to and if Candy doesn't like it she'll know where I'll be in a handful of months when I'm done serving as an incubator.

By the way, I'll definitely be ringing your number when that day comes but it'll just be to ask where your girl's at.

No sense? What, you mean like signing your team up for a tournament that you don't show up for, then claiming it doesn't matter after you lose terribly? That makes even less sense.

I'm saying that the rest of the Crew seems to be doing your heavy lifting these days. You're not dueling right now. You weren't dueling when Candy ran over Ria and Chris on her way to the mantle. You weren't dueling during Hydra. You do remember that showing up to duel is still a requirement at making claims of skill, right? Every once in awhile you have to show up to prove you're still at the top of the heap.

I also don't have a girl, but I'll try to get one by the time you do ring me up. We can have a party.

I don't need to prove my talent to you or anyone else. I'm Maria Graziano. I'll show up when I feel like it and I'll pick up another barony or two before I decide that dealing with the stink of the Arena just isn't worth it anymore. But the key to that is that I decide. I won't be pressured into it because I've made my name in this sport.

When and why I take time off from the duels is my business. My family was behind why I stopped dueling this past summer. They're behind why I'm not dueling now. Because they know I have their back in any way I can. And that's just my point which you don't seem to be understanding.

I'd never just throw a teammate out by publicly saying "well, you're the one with the target on your back". King supported Candy in every way she possibly could during her reign and she deserves the same in return. Because on the Crew if one of us has a target on our back, the rest of us will line up to block that person's back.

That's how we roll and if King wants to discuss being part of a truly supportive unit, she knows where to find me.

In summation, you're there to support your teammates in any way you can... as long as it coincides with whenever you feel like showing up and dueling.

I totally get it now. Thanks for the clarification. Your not bothering to duel at all during Hydra or during any of the Crew's recent comebacks makes perfect sense now.

Also, can you please autograph Seirichi's breasts so she stops bothering me about it?

There you go King. If for some reason you can't hack it anymore and need someone to hold your hand, babysit you, and fight all your fights for you then we got a team lined up.

No hate or nothing, but I won't be leaving Beat Down anytime soon. Candy might be a little hard, but I need to own up to my own problems. I was basically taunting for challenge when I said I'd go after the Overlord spot next. Should of just kept quiet and did it all sneaky like if I didn't want trouble.

.. But if you ARE offering free food and a shot at your sister, I don't mind moonlighting.

I believe this is standard Minx policy.

You should apply for honorary membership/kinship.

The Baroness and I are currently working out details for the match, but for reference sake I have waived the strict two week time limit from the Baronesss's official response in terms of scheduling the actual match. Even if the Baroness had gone the extreme legal time limit to respond and then the extreme time limit to schedule a match this match will still get done within that time frame I am confident. I ask everyone's patience in the details being forthcoming as the Baroness has some details to workout to make things happen which I am totally understanding and patient with in terms of letting the rules play out.

This is my first official challenge in the home venue of the armed dueling sport I have attempted. I understand that the custom for such occasions is for the duelers involved to have a Second and a person of honor in the ceremonies. I would be honored if any individuals would like to present themselves for either of those two positions in my quest for title. Please be aware that apparently I am the outsider underdog mere pebble in the road to my opponent's journey to greater glory in trials beyond me if you so chose to be apart of my cheering section. I grant I have no history in this venue, but I humbly submit that any who were witness to the seasons of the Team Dueling League I participated that I could be realisiticaly considered above average and perhaps considered a worthy challenger to today's baron title holder.
