Challenge for Earth

As most of you know, I have long awaited the completion of my tower journey that ends with the acquisition of the key to the tower of Earth.

Furthermore, I have become aware of certain disrespectful statements Jesse made towards the Minx goddesses and their faithful goblin community of Minxist adherents:

Jesse wrote: The rest of you so-called "Gods" walking around the isle, GET ON MY LEVEL! Don't spout nonsense and have nothing to back it up!

Jesse wrote: I hereby declare that all Gods on Twilight Isle and RhyDin are imposters!

When I approached Jesse and informed her of sections 4 through 6 of my decree she responded with vulgar obscenities. When I told her about the harm and chaos her statements could cause on the innocent goblins of the Isle she threatened me. Needless to say the goblins of the Isle were inconsolable when they received word of the keeper's views concerning the Minxist faith which is so central to their lives and identity. Jesse has offended myself, the native goblin population of the Isle, and the Minxist temple.

The goblins demanded that I, their champion of the Minxist Temple here on the Isle become the instrument of their vengeance. I will thrash Jesse in the rings and strip her of her title and key, and she will be handed over to the goblin inquisitors for re-education after which she will stand trial in the goblin court for blasphemy.

"Do you suppose Skorch realizes Jesse doesn't hold the Tower of Fire?"

Kizik giggled, "Skorch is pretty obsessed."

The gaggle of goblins peered at the challenge. Fuggit tried to climb atop Big Mo to get a better look. "Hold still! I wanna read!"

Big Mo, never fond of being a footstool answered, "Oh! Well, in that case, let me help you see better!" Mo tossed Fuggit down and kicked him. And kicked him again. "Seeing better now?"

"Yup, thanks. Much better now." Fuggit groaned and lay on the ground.

Big Mo squinted at the board. "What's that supposed to be a picture of?"

"It's supposed to be Jesse on fire." More giggling. "I'd like to see Jesse on fire"

Mo made a face. "Peeeuuww." He glared at Kizik. "Have you ever smelled undead burning?" He waved Kizik back and pulled out a knife and began carving "Big Mo wuz here" beneath the challenged notice.

"Do you think that's a good idea? Mur will know you were here instead of working."

"Mur's a dummy. He can't tell us apart. Lug reported for work seven times yesterday!" Still, the goblin thought better of his idea, and used his knife to cross out Big Mo and instead scratched in "Lug the Hammer".

"SSSSShhhh! Don't say that about him! He's got ears everywhere!"

"You rat me out, and I'll nail your tongue to the bottom of a garbage wagon."

Kizik pouted. "I'm just saying..."

The larger goblin thwacked him. "Hush up."

Fuggit rolled over and bit Big Mo on the back of the ankle.

"OWWWW!" Mo snatched up his frying pan and took a swing at Fuggit's head. Fuggit and Kizik took off running. "You are in for it now!"

Mur, were you aware that challenges to Jesse include marriage proposals? Or is this a surprise to you, too?
