Charles,

It would be more believable if Rakeesh followed his own words. One moment he says he is busy with these so called "Demons", and the next he's challenging for Opals. All while trying to restart a dueling team? Nevermind joining Madness as well.

It's his actions both inside the rings and outside that created this animosity toward him. He shouldn't be allowed to make a statement one moment, then ask for it to be swept under the rug the next when the public outcry happened. He needs to live with what he did. The second he played the game of politics, he opened himself up for this.

This isn't once. It isn't twice. It's a constant. It's been shown even in the past twenty four hours. If the threat of Old Temple is real, which I still doubt these demons exist, then he should be focused on THEM and NOT the duels.

It is real; I personally know at least one child who has encountered one of these Khul'din, and am certain that there are more.

In my eyes, though, this makes the actions of Rakeesh all the more damning. I recall that he was an hour late in arriving to meet the challenge made against him by Marric Dorsvle, and when he arrived he had clearly been fighting something. In retrospect, it was most likely these demons he was battling, and yet why didn't he say anything then? Were we not a forum public enough for his liking, those few of us gathered there?

By word and deed, Rakeesh has been nothing more than a divisive fear-monger who has stirred up the people of the Old Temple and the entire city... the only question is, why? Whatever the answer, I do not trust that Rakeesh has any truly noble motivation behind his actions.

Maybe the fetus is laughing at Charles too. It's a possibility.

I still say this is all an elaborate April Fools joke and Charles is attempting to become the King of April Fools.

Oh! Hey! Maria posted in this thread. HEY MARIA! You coming to my baby shower? Don't worry, Harris wont be there.. Unless we all feel like playing pin the tail on the Jackass.

Harris just touched my butt while I wrote this.

I'm in on any event that lists stabbing Harris as one of its party games.

I had gas this morning. It was pretty damn bad. I'm really certain it was these demons that caused it.

Prove me wrong.

The evidence posted within this thread has been compiled! I have arranged them in such a way to explain the current phenomenon now dubbed as "The Jesse Drew Mysteries: The Case of the Communist Citty in Old Temple!". Eregor, son of Eregor and future husband of Rhiannon Brock, daughter of Rhiannon Brock and mother of Rhiannon Brock has stated that at least one child has seen one of these demons! G'nort, son of G'norticus, has stated these demons have given him gas of the rump!

Ergo, vis a vis, and other words I do not understand fully but will use because it is well within mine rights to do so!

I will now reveal to the public the cause of the problem!

Image

The sleeping child leads into the arrival of the demon that feeds on its dreams! This dream feeding then leads into gas release during the morning! The gas release then goes to the unknown equation of this problem before going full circle back to the sleeping child!

My studies in the last twelve minutes ( which for a genius like me is all I need ) have discovered the missing element to this problem!

THE GAS ITSELF IS THE DEMONS CREATED BY DREAM ASTRAL PROJECTION MANIPULATING SAID GAS INTO BECOMING THE DEMON THAT PLAGUES THE CHILD'S SLEEP!

The remedy to fix this is simple. Do not feed your child beans before bed.

I would now like the people of Old Temple, no, of RhyDin as a whole to pay me 1 copper each for my discovery to science and the well being of all man-beast-undead-kind.

As the parties that I have been working with know well enough, we are collaborating on a permanent solution to deal with the threat in the Old Temple District that is safe and will not harm any of the innocent populace there. Recently, I have made the mistake, several times over, of attempting to use my career as a duelist to promote my work to help keep the community safe - with tragic results. I simply cannot bear to obfusicate the two priorities yet again. I am continuing to work around the clock in both capacities, as a professional public figure and as a servant of the community.

In short, let us not stray from the pertinent issue here. Ticallion is a great duelist and I look forward to our challenge. After some fact checking, it appears that when I lost early in my career to Kaja, she was a member of the Company of Dragons - G'nort's projections were incorrect. So, should Tical overcome me to take the mantle and join the ranks of two-time Overlords, he must break my undefeated record against The Wrecking Crew in the capacity of challenge matches and team dueling.

Should Ticallion leave the ring victorious, he will have achieved something that Maria, Chris, Tony, Kheldar and he himself never have. In my mind, that makes this a challenge worth watching - and I hope to see a great turn out from the community.

G: If the worst thing you have to say about me is that I'm a minor-league dueler, well...I must be doing something right in my life.

Charles: It sickens me that I actually let you heal me once.

G'nort, I understand how easy it is to match up those TDL seasons incorrectly. I had to triple check myself, and ask my Manager to do so as well.

Beyond that statistical matter, I'd like to anger my PR Manager and address the arguments involving Charles. What exactly has Charles done wrong? He's stood up for what he believes in and expressed his opinion. He works as a public servant to defend the city. He's kind, eager to improve as a duelist and to prove himself.

I do not know Charles well, but I appreciate his supportive words and am glad to know that I will have a few fans rooting for me in this challenge. Beyond that, I commend him on not simply following the masses merely because to do otherwise means subjecting yourself to wit-less banter and insults that a public defender who risks his life to keep your families safe should not need to listen to.

Stop acting like sheep and put your swords where your mouths are.

Can I be your PR Manager? It'd be nice to have a side-gig where I get paid big money for accomplishing absolutely nothing.

P.S. I'll even donate all that money to the Rhydin Shield Association.

Because everything can be solved with a sword, right?

Once again. I wonder if the families hurt by your idiotic decisions can appreciate all of this.
