Kimone,
I do maintain that nothing is a greater potential danger than magic, including nuclear weapons. I also believe it to be unwise to allow any citizen the freedom to possess nuclear weapons.
I am attempting to understand your perspective, however, it simply makes no sense to me. I do not wish for mages to be harmed or persecuted. I merely wish for them to be known.
The Barony of Old Temple will investigate the bigoted murders of the three innocent mages and any other cases of such actions. May their murderers be brought to justice, and may reason - and not emotion and fear - guide us forward.
Rakeesh Sah Tarna

You worry over who can destroy worlds? And then expect a registration to stop them?
I have destroyed worlds. I have created them.
Come, let us see what your registration can do to stop me, and those who I protect in *my* district. Have your affairs in order, lion, for when you do come, you may find yourself in one less world.

To the Beast Known as Rakeesh Sah Tarna,
Unlike the majority of soft-skinned creatures opposing your proposal, know that I stand in your favor where regarding the registration of magic-users throughout the realm. Such an act would benefit me greatly, for then I would be better informed of my competition and know who to eliminate in order to maintain my superiority. Indeed, your proposed legislation would also greatly benefit other villains such as you named in allowing them to also identify and eliminate their potential competition. I would even offer myself to be named among the first of your registrants, for I have nothing to fear from any governing authority, let alone any other creature that may consider itself adept in the magical arts. Those not quite half as powerful as I, however, would have a lot to fear from me, and I look forward to seeing them tremble in terror at the mere mention of my name. Nothing is quite so gratifying as the taste of fear, except perhaps the flesh of a plump and well-tended virgin. Though admittedly I have yet to sample the flavor of freshly charred liontaur, a lapse I may have to some day remedy.
In short, you are a fool.

Mephistopheles,
If those who would inflict suffering were allowed to get away with their actions, then this city would not be standing. I encourage you to re-think your life decisions. Rhy'Din has many champions and a long list of failed fascists.
Sincerely,
Rakeesh Sah Tarna
Baron of the Old Temple District

Rakeesh,
In simple terms, to call only mages the danger to the city, is foolishness. Yes mages have the power to do many things on a grand scale. But so can one man, with one gun, and a room full of people. So can a man with a vial of poison. There are a million threats. Singling out one is more so on the fear of it. Yes rakeesh, i am calling you a coward.
Well Lets also tackle this, mainly because i am still considered a suspect. These murders have been at surely at random. The fear and panic your idea has brought to Rhy'din has people on edge. At the same time, the real attackers are going on free, leaving this to be left at your head.
Let me leave you with this. These murders are under investigation of the few un-corrupt members of the Rhy'din watch, myself and a small band of vigilantes, And the Empire. We do not need, nor wish, for the support of a foolish bigot like yourself.
Squire of Dragons Gate

Mr. Blackstone,
I caution you as well. The blatant and wholly incorrect generalization of your stating "the few un-corrupt members of the Watch" is inaccurate, offensive and entirely baseless.
Speaking from my experience both as a citizen as as Governor of this city, I can confidentely state that most Watch members are honorable people who deeply care about this Rhydin and its citizens. To paint the bulk of them as corrupt and dishonest is wholly inconsiderate and, to be blunt, ignorant. Does the Watch suffer from corruption? Yes. Are some of its members deceitful? Yes. Do these sorts of people comprise the bulk of the Watch.
Most decidedly: No. They do not.
You sanction Rakeesh and yet follow in his footsteps with a smiliar foolhardy message. You call the Baron a bigot and yet proceed to make a bigoted and prejudical statement.
I urge you to retract your words, for they make you a blight upon the district you represent with your Squireship.

Normally i would not argue a point. However after many days of investigation by myself, Zack shimmerscale, arthour, and other members of the public, we have found that a cell has infact inflitrated the watch, and has been bribing many members to make these statements.
Perhaps my terminology was wrong and i do apologize, the watch isn't corrupt, but a select few within have been aiding this cell in achieving its goal.
Mr. Blackstone,
The message boards in the Arena are not the proper place to make such statements and accusations. Should you have actual proof of your claims, I strongly suggest you contact the Governor's office immediately, present your evidence and allow the Governor to do her job.
As with Rakeesh, I hope that you do not continue to allow your intentions (and I will presume, for the moment, they are good intentions) to cloud your judgement and lead you into making further ill decisions or statements.

Charles speaks of murder and investigations? Let it be known that the Betrayer known as Charles Blackstone sent me to mine own death
He is a murderer and not to be trusted! A vile snake hiding in the bush waiting to pounce under command of his heathen mistress, Candy Hart.
Jay is Crew. Myria is Crew. And soon enough I will be once I take Myria's hand in marriage. I've been told that Crew need all the cheering they can get so I will be saying "aight Kheld" and "Don't let that punk punk you!" to Jay and expressing my fondest wishes that he be victorious in his challenge.
I also reiterate my earlier comment.

Rakeesh. You are a kitty. I have sent cat food to your Manor, along with catnip.
Also to comment the fellow known as Ser Tass. You may have built and destroyed worlds, but I have you beat. I ate cereal for dinner, and I don't even need to eat!

My Dear Ms. Brock,
The beast's ignorance is indeed quite clear. I find of particular amusement his gall to lecture me on rethinking my "life decisions." Though I also find much humor in his blindness to the fact that violence and atrocities happen in this realm on a daily basis, most crimes of which go unsolved and the responsible parties not held accountable. It does also seem that the Baron is unaware of the irony in his own mention of "failed fascists."

To be fair, Cor, it could be argued that Jay himself opened up the debate with his well-written explanation of his reasons for entering the Overlord Grant Tournament.
As for Mr. Sah Tarna's comments that he wishes no harm or persecution upon mages, well, that sentiment is appreciated. He is an idiot if he thinks those with less noble intentions wouldn't be able to find a way to use those registration lists for their own purposes, as Mephisto pointed out in his own inimitable manner.
In any event, I wish Jay the best of skill and fortune in this challenge. He is a good man for taking such a stand.
