Seven showed up and here are there names: Andrea aka Apple, Rena A. Cronin, Jigglypuff, Rakeesh, Kheldar, Gwen Minx, and Rachael Douglas.
Apple sat out the first round while the two renegade barons, Kheldar and Rakeesh, met up in it in Pool. Rena and Rachael were sent to the Can while Gwen Minx and the Puff create got to play around in the fern.
The Minx finished things off first, defeating the Puff thing 5-1 in six rounds. Rena followed, taking her match 5-1 in seven. The renegades drew it out longer, but after eleven rounds and with a score of 5-2 Rakeesh continued on in the winners' bracket.
In the second round, Kheldar got a break to dry off while Rakeesh got sent to the Ice Rink to cool off with Apple. Rena and the Minx got dirty in the Pit while the Puff thing and Rachael fought up in Styx to see who'd get to stick around.
Apple made a decisive victory, winning the match 5-1 in seven. Rachael booted the Puff creature from the tournament, 5-3 in eight, and Puff bounced around the ceiling of the Outback for most of the night. Rena then defeated the Minx, 5-2 in 9.
In the third round, Rena and Apple faced off in the Fern in the winners' bracket. Gwen and Kheldar meet up high in Styx while Rachael got down in the muddy Pit with a damp Raskeesh.
Apple sent Rena down to the losers' bracket, taking the match 5-1 in five. Rachael and Kheldar were next to leave the tournament as Rakeesh finished 5-2 in eight and the Minx took hers 5-4 in nine.
The road to redemption saw the Minx face off against the muddy and wet Rakeesh in the Can to see which one of them would get the chance to meet Rena in the semi-finals. After three null rounds the pair seemed suddenly more motivated to get out of the Can, when the heat of ring combined with the smell of muddy wet fur. A trade of kicks saw Gwen with the victory, 5-4 in twelve, and the renegade baron on his way home.
I sent Rena and Gwen to cool off on the Ice and once more Rena took the victory away from the Minx, 5-2 in eight, and went on to face off against Apple in the finals.
Despite dominating the night, Apple lost her mojo when she got dunked in the pool and suffered her first lost of the night to Rena after sudden death, 5-4 in 11. However, Apple's own redemption came when she met with Rena again, this time on Styx, and Apple sealed first place, 5-1 in seven.
Grats to the newest Diamonds.
