I just wanted to chime in here, because I don't think I have yet.

HUGE thanks to all the callers, subs, standings keepers, coordinators, etc.. You guys are AWESOME for doing what you do for little in return. I am guessing that it can seem a thankless job (and believe me, I understand those), but we really do appreciate you for volunteering your time so that we can enjoy ourselves in this setting that we have worked together to help build.

To keep it short ..this time, I want to thank Candy's player. She kicked me in my tail, and convinced me that it would be a good idea to do some roleplaying again.

I love this place. I love it while I am here, and I miss it while I am away. I don't always have time to play, and usually have to go before the shifts end because of work early, but ...there is no substitution for a good night of roleplay. Thanks, Candyplayer. I'm sure you'll catch grief from some for bringing me back around for however brief this time will be. ;)

Just taking a time out to give a quick thanks - to everyone I've played with in the last few weeks and particularly to the players behind Matt, Maria, Harris, Locke, Candy, Seirichi, Darien and Rena who've helped spark my interest in writing stories here again. I thought I might have writer's block forever in the wake of dealing with being displaced for awhile after the hurricane so I'm very grateful for all the inspiration here (whether you guys realize you've given it to me or not).

Sorry I didn't make it but a huge shout out to the first night of the Arena/Annex remodeling host: Dread Ship Lollipop! Those involved & calling! I heard you had a lot of success!

Rena and Aja went above and beyond setting the mood and tone. I didn't have to do anything other than play my usual goofy piRATe. I couldn't have asked for better hosts. And it was super great to see everyone go with the theme and bring their own flavor to it. Mermaids! Planks! Croc pool! Crows Nest! Dragon firework! And we got to see the elusive Dread Pirate Pixie, Trixie!

I may or may not be able to play tonight, depending on weather. It's Deathlord's place, right? So cool.

From what I saw of the event last night on the Dread Ship Lollipop it seemed like people had a lot of fun. Kudos to Norah, Aja, Rena, Napoleon, and to everyone that came in and played along!
